💭 “I want to showcase my talent here.”
💙 From his loan spell at Kilmarnock to appearing at the World Cup, Findlay Curtis spoke to @RangersTV to reflect on his journey and his ambitions at Rangers.
Rangers are doing a lot of great work to get people who understand the club in the door this summer and Allan’s another one. Had a reputation as a party boy as a player but one of the hardest trainers and an absolute winner, tremendous appointment.
💭 “He knows exactly what it takes to be successful at Rangers and understands the standards that are required every day.”

Cody Gakpo has just suffered the heartbreaking loss of his child at birth. No parent should ever have to endure such unimaginable pain. Every family facing a tragedy like this deserves compassion, patience, and all the support the world can offer.
It also takes me back to what Cristiano Ronaldo endured in 2022. He and his family were expecting twins. They lost their newborn son while welcoming their newborn daughter into the world. Imagine trying to celebrate the birth of one child while grieving the loss of the other. Few parents could even begin to comprehend that emotional burden.
Yet it wasn’t long before much of the football media and large sections of the Manchester United fan base returned to portraying Ronaldo as the problem at the club. The conversation quickly became about how his goals were hurting the team, how he no longer fit the system, and why the club needed to move on.
To me, that wasn’t what genuine empathy looks like. True empathy would have recognised that a man carrying that level of grief might not be himself for a long time. Some experiences change a person forever, and losing a child is one of them.
One of the most memorable moments from that period came at Anfield, where Liverpool supporters put rivalry aside to show compassion. It was a reminder that humanity should always come before football.
As we keep Cody Gakpo and his family in our thoughts, let’s also remember this: football is important, but life is infinitely bigger than the game. No parent should ever have to bury their child. Never forget.
We’ve learnt some bad news that Donny Strathie passed away in Boston on Sunday. He had a ticket for the Morocco game, but never got the chance to realize his World Cup dream.
It would mean a lot to his family if we could organise a minutes applause in the 76th minute of the Morocco game.

A group of Scots in a Boston Airbnb went viral after they were filmed playing the bagpipes last week at 6:30am
Now, with a win under Scotland's belt, they tell @jamesmatthewsky about the love they've received - including doughnuts and 12 bottles of whisky

👀 18 goals and 9 assists in 52 games.
Vaclav Cerny certainly made an impact during his spell at Rangers.
If the rumours are true, would you bring him back this summer?
