The punishment of sin (death) is Perfectly Just. If God chooses to save us from our deserved destruction, it is only because He chose to show us Mercy.
Mark 7:20-23
20 And he said, “What comes out of a person is what defiles him. 21 For from within, out of the heart of man, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, 22 coveting, wickedness, deceit, sensuality, envy, slander, pride, foolishness. 23 All these evil things come from within, and they defile a person.”
Jesus Christ of Nazareth is coming to overthrow the kingdom in your heart. To fully restore you to Himself. Woe to you who seek an earthly kingdom. Do you not know? His Kingdom is not of this world.
Apostasy swallowing ignorant sheep who are kept by the extreme grace of God.
This has been the vast history of the Church.
Believers often disregard that 6 out of 7 churches in Revelation were steeped in damnable doctrine or that almost all of Paul’s letters admonished wayward saints.
Even the original 12 apostles fell into false doctrine that was corrected by the Word of God (Acts 15).
Hallelujah that they had hearts soft enough to respond to the Word of God when it was revealed to them by Paul and Barnabas.
May we ourselves keep such hearts before our Almighty God.
What manner of religious pride! —to imagine that we are somehow impervious to the same deception that befell the men whose eyes saw the risen Christ ascend into the sky and whose passing shadow healed the sick.
God save us.
I do believe He has. It’s just a matter of seeing that salvation unfold. Hosanna in the highest!🔥🕊️
Unless you overcome the evil in yourself and your own heart, everything you do is in vain. If you haven’t seen Christ come in the clouds in the Glory of His Father, you haven’t overcome yet, you’re still running the race to receive the prize. Keep walking in faith until you do.
God, I AM THAT I AM, can speak and reveal Himself to His children through anything in reality, in whatever way He wants. His sheep have eyes and ears that perceive Him and they follow Him.
You are still worldly. For since there is jealousy and quarreling among you, are you not worldly? Are you not acting like mere humans? - 1 Corinthians 3:3
You can gain anything you want in this world if you want it bad enough…but nothing will fill your heart unless you follow after Christ. Seek first the Kingdom of God and everything else will be given to you.
