@gc22gc Looks like Schumer has pulled money away from Brown. As I said before with Ohio turning R+11 Vivek and Husted look to be in great shape. Even early voting for democrats is a disaster.
@DataRepublican Amy is in deep trouble as donors and voters have walked away from the democrat party. We see Vivek and Husted both winning Ohio. Early voting is a disaster for democrats. This may be the lowest total in Hamilton County since 1970.
@TonerousHyus Based upon not making 70% on early voting by democrats, this looks like a disaster for them. Dems had 67.5% early voting when Moreno and Vance ran. They lost both races by four and eight points.
@OpenSourceZone Hamilton County which is reliably blue is looking like that 45 and older will make up majority and the 18 to 29 is below five percent. It appears democrat donors and voters have walked away from the party. Looks like lowest total coming in since 1970. Vivek looks like he wins.
@JeremiahW2044 Yeah, I'm not surprised as Talarico has disappeared for 12 days and news pundits are reporting he checked into hospital for mental breakdown.
@ocpna4@J_logic12345@civicapi If you check out the Moreno and Vance races you will see dems got 67.5% of the early vote and lost by 4 and 8 points. Just the facts.
@J_logic12345@civicapi That's my point exactly. They are not massive leads as they can't even come in at a 70% share in a democrat county on early voting. In order for them to win they will have to run way above that in democrat counties or they will get crushed on election day.
@J_logic12345@civicapi Here's the main problem besides that. Early voting indicates 55% of early requests were 45 and older. Check your data and you will see that age is the Republicans strength.
@J_logic12345@civicapi I'm not going anywhere. I just stated to you what has happened in the two previous races in which democrats got 67.5% of early voting and lost both by 4 and 8 points. This of course is in a state that is R+11.
@J_logic12345@civicapi I just looked at the model again and Sherrod Brown has a maximum ceiling currently of 59%. Husted has a ceiling of 46%. This is based upon early voting. That is way worse than Brown did in the last election. Amy is doing worse.,
@J_logic12345@civicapi Actually they are running ahead of 2024 on percentage of EV. If you look at even Cuyahoga county which is solid democrat it's only running 66%. It has to run much higher than that to achieve 70% overall in the state of Ohio.
@onpointpolitics Amy is running at 59% along with Brown on EV. If they don't come in at 70% they have no chance. There seems to be a lack of enthusiasm by dems.
@J_logic12345@civicapi That's not the problem bro. If democrats don't get a 70% share of ev they will lose. Dems ran against Vance and Moreno. In both cases they got 67.5% of the ev and lost to same day election by eight and four points respectively. Currently Brown is running at about 59%.
