For the record, I’m a blood-bought, fundamental, child of the King, born-again, saved man. I’m not “(C)hristian” (which today is defined as a non-Muslim, non-atheist) or an “evangelical” (defined as someone who goes to church maybe twice a year.) I’m much more than that!
@JustinKirschman@BrysonGray I argue “they” are not changing the 10 commandments. I guess some would consider me as “they.” “Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.” Is still a command. We remember His creation and His day of rest after it. I argue that tradition defines what keeping it “holy” is.
@BrysonGray When did the Sabbath, which means “rest,” become a day of worship? And did all of Israel go into the tabernacle and the Temple every Sabbath to worship?
@ChristandGuitar@BrysonGray Yes. He claims he is sinless. And unless you are sinless you cannot go to heaven. He goes even further… if you worship the Lord Jesus on the wrong day, that is sin. So, therefore, you can’t go to heaven even while worship the True and Living God on a Monday.
@BrysonGray According to the Bible, how many works, what particular works, and what if there are no works, like the thief on the cross? I hate how he’s going from Paradise to the lake of fire.
@mtaibbi I’m old enough to remember when the liberals lost their mind when it was told that Roy Moore in Alabama back in the 70’s got out of the military in his 20’s and was trying to court high school girls.
@Drt42Tenney@ChristySimm23@brysongray That right there tells you it is a ceremonial law. You don’t say that about adultery. You don’t say, “ oh well, I cheated on my wife. No one is perfect.” Or, “whoops, I murdered my brother. My bad. I did my best to try not to murder him.”
@Drt42Tenney@ChristySimm23@brysongray The term “Sabbath” means “rest.” Is there a command or scripture that says that you can only worship (or you are sinning) on the Sabbath? I argue, as a pastor, I would work my tail off on the Sabbath if that’s the day we worshipped.
