@yabaleftonline Well. In all honesty you're right.
But then life is full of many things that can't be explained. It's just for us to pray and hope that things go the way we plan it.
@unseriousguru The question should be that how can 3 sisters sleep with one man knowingly.... Not rapped or drugged, with their full senses.

GOOD NEWS:
Loko–Oweto Road & Bridge is nearing completion.🇳🇬
The Loko–Oweto Road and Bridge connects Benue State to Nasarawa State across the River Benue.
It links Oweto (Benue State) directly to Loko (Nasarawa State) and creates a shorter transport corridor between the North-Central region and the Federal Capital Territory (Abuja).
We commend PMB for starting this laudable project and PBAT for continuing.
May Nigeria succeed.

@xevekiah It has nothing to do with misogyny.
It is not abnormal for a woman to have period pain only on some occasions it becomes an issue, it's just biology taking it's course. On the other hand for a man to have abdominal pain it means something is definitely wrong.
The almighty US military might have the tech, air power, and naval dominance, but when it comes to guerrilla and asymmetric warfare, the Nigerian military is a force to be reckoned with! Nigeria has proven its mettle, showcasing its strategic prowess in the region.
The US may have advanced technology, drones, and aircraft carriers, but Nigeria's military has mastered the art of unconventional warfare, leveraging local knowledge and intelligence to outmaneuver adversaries.
It's not about comparing strengths, but acknowledging different areas of expertise. Nigeria's focus on regional security, counter terrorism, and peacekeeping has earned it respect, while the US excels in global reach and high tech warfare.
Argue all you can, but the US can't go toe to toe with the Nigerian military.
One of the dumbest excuses that really pisses me off is hearing Muslims say "it’s the West sponsoring extremists."
Nigeria has over 200 million people. If foreign powers are manipulating us so easily, why is it almost always Muslims that are being used? Why aren’t traditional worshippers being sponsored to bomb markets or kidnap schoolchildren? Why don’t we hear of shrine priests committing mass atrocities in the name of ancestral gods? Or chritains killing in the name of Jesus?
Every major terrorist group here hides behind Islam. Every atrocity is justified with religious language. Every crime is defended by someone shouting "don’t question the scholars." But somehow the blame is still pushed outside.
Let me be clear: this is not an attack on Islam. Islam is not the problem. The problem is a culture that trains Muslims to obey blindly, fear clerics more than God, and shut down questioning in the name of "faith."
The West didn’t teach us to abandon children to the streets. The West didn’t raise people to defend killers because they share the same religion. The West didn’t normalize ignorance and call it piety.
At some point we have to stop lying to ourselves. Extremism survives because we refuse to confront abuse inside our own communities. Until Muslims take responsibility and dismantle this culture of blind loyalty, extremists will always find recruits among us.

REPORT OF PURPORTED SHOOTING OF WOMEN PROTESTERS BY ESCORT TO BRIGADE COMMANDER, ABSOLUTELY FALSE
The attention of Headquarters 23 Brigade Nigerian Army has been drawn to a baseless report by the Sahara Reporters and some other online media published on Monday 8 December, 2025. The said report levelled unfounded and false allegations against the Brigade and its Commander.
Contrary to this allegation, Headquarters 23 Brigade wishes to state that the report is bereft of truth and therefore entirely misleading. It is nothing short of an attempt to smear the image of the Brigade and its Commander and by extension the Nigerian Army.
It is necessary to inform the general public that neither the Brigade Commander nor his escorts was at the scene of the communal clash as the Brigade Commander was participating virtually in the Chief of Army Staff’s weekly operational brief at the time of the purported shooting by his escorts.
Headquarters 23 Brigade wishes to set the record straight that combined troops of 23 Brigade Garrison, Nigerian Police Force, NSCDC and DSS received information about the communal clashes between Bachama and Chobo tribes of Lamurde LGA of Adamawa State at about 0135 hours ( 1:30 AM) of Monday, 8 December 2025.
The communal clash was as a result of the unresolved land disputes and ethnic acrimony between Chobo and Bachama tribes. Troops moved swiftly to the affected communities to return normalcy to the affected areas of Tingno, Rigange, Tito, Waduku and Lamurde.
In the course of its operations, a militia armed group suspected of fighting for one of the warring communities- Chobo attacked the troops .The troops, being a professional, adaptable and combat ready force decisively engaged the militia armed men in the fire fight. During the exchange of fire, troops neutralized 3 of the gunmen and forced other members of the militia group to flee the general area. The troops were able to put the clashes under control.
The troops and other security agencies later exploited the withdrawal route of the militia group, where an additional 5 neutralized members of the armed men were discovered with a motorcycle. Furthermore, the troops received a distress call that a warring community had mobilized to attack Lamurde Local Government's Secretariat.
While moving to secure the Secretariat, some women blocked the road to deny troops passage to the Secretariat while armed men suspected to be fighting for Bachama extraction fired indiscriminately within the community. Troops then created a passage and proceeded to the Local Government Secretariat ( LGS) to secure the area. At this point, no woman was shot or injured. Otherwise, troops would not have been allowed to find any passage through the crowd.
The troops were able to secure the Secretariat from the assailant. While stationed at the Local Government Lodge (LGL), 2 corpses of women were brought to the Lodge by the people of the community and alleged that they were killed by own troops.
Without equivocation, the casualties were caused by the unprofessional handling of automatic weapons by the local militias who are not proficiently trained to handle such automatic weapons.
Notwithstanding, the Brigade deeply sympathizes with the family of the slain women and urges the warring communities to embrace peace to avoid unnecessary loss of lives and destruction of properties.
The Brigade remains resolute and committed to the discharge of its constitutional duties in aid of civil authorities and will continue to apply due diligence as it conducts its operational engagements to ensure peace and stability in its Area of Responsibility.
Headquarters 23 Brigade urges the general public to kindly disregard the malicious report.

Tunisia made history by becoming the first African country to design, build, and launch a fully home-made satellite into orbit.
The satellite, named “Challenge One,” was developed by Tunisian engineers to demonstrate advanced IoT communication from space and to prove that African nations can develop cutting-edge aerospace technology.
The satellite launched aboard a Russian Soyuz rocket in 2021 and successfully established communication with ground stations shortly after reaching orbit.
Built using local talent and resources, the project represents a major milestone in Tunisia’s technological development and opens doors for future satellite networks, Earth-monitoring systems, and advanced communications.
This achievement has inspired a new generation of African engineers and entrepreneurs, proving that innovation is not limited by geography. Tunisia now aims to build an entire constellation of satellites, expanding its presence in the global space economy.
A small nation placing a big footprint in orbit.
DECLARATION OF NATIONWIDE SECURITY EMERGENCY & RECRUITMENT OF ADDITIONAL ARMY AND POLICE PERSONNEL
Fellow Nigerians,
Today, in view of the emerging security situation, I have decided to declare a nationwide security emergency and order additional recruitment into the Armed Forces.
By this declaration, the police and the army are authorised to recruit more personnel. The police will recruit an additional 20,000 officers, bringing the total to 50,000.
Although I had previously approved the nationwide upgrade of police training facilities, the police authorities are, by this statement, authorised to use various National Youth Service Corps camps as training depots.
The officers being withdrawn from VIP guard duties should undergo crash training to debrief them and deliver more efficient police services when deployed to security-challenged areas of the country.
The DSS also has my authority to immediately deploy all the forest guards already trained to flush out the terrorists and bandits lurking in our forests. The agency also has my directive to recruit more men to man the forests. There will be no more hiding places for agents of evil.
My fellow Nigerians, this is a national emergency, and we are responding by deploying more boots on the ground, especially in security-challenged areas. The times require all hands on deck. As Nigerians, we should all get involved in securing our nation.
Let me take this moment to commend our security agencies for working together to secure the release of the 24 schoolgirls in Kebbi and the 38 worshippers in Kwara State. We will continue to sustain the efforts to rescue the remaining students of Catholic School in Niger State and other Nigerians still being held hostage.
To the leadership and rank and file of our Armed Forces, I commend your courage and your sacrifice. This is a challenging moment for our nation and for the military institution itself. I charge you to remain resolute, to restore peace across all theatres of operation, and to uphold the highest standards of discipline and integrity. There must be no compromise, no collusion, and no negligence. The Nigerian people are counting on you, and this administration will provide the support you need to succeed.

Fellow Nigerians, let me be very clear — Tinubu is our own Xi Jinping, but with agbalumo flavour and Yoruba stubbornness.
Some of you don’t like this truth, but that’s your business.
Reality is not a customer care line.
China did not become China in 2 years — it took vision, brutality of focus, and a leader who was ready to offend everybody for national progress.
Now look at Nigeria: for the first time in decades, we actually have a president who is not governing with vibes and political courtesy.
We are still in foundation stage, and you’re already shouting.
My sibling in Christ, skyscrapers don’t grow from pure water nylon — the foundations are always ugly, always noisy, always painful, if you've been to construction sites you'll know.
2027 is not an election year...
2027 is the year Nigeria starts behaving like a country that knows what it wants.
By then the structure, the discipline, the policies, the reforms and the shock-therapy adjustments would have settled.
We will start seeing the results that will make people speak Yoruba out of excitement:
“Ah! Ṣe Nigeria yi la wa sha?”
Tinubu is doing EXACTLY what China did:
Break the old system
Reset the economy
Centralise discipline
Force reforms with or without your permission
Build long-term structures instead of short-term stomach infrastructure
No gimmicks.
No romantic speeches.
Just hard, brutal governance — the kind that future generations will thank him for while your grandchildren will ask why you were crying like this in 2023/2024.
We are not trying to be like China.
We’re trying to be the version of Nigeria that will one day compete with China.
Laugh now.
Drag now.
Insult now.
But bookmark this:
2027 is the beginning; foundation is still wet — but the building will shock the continent.
Nigeria is not just rising,
Nigeria is loading… dangerously.

Why the Lukumi Yoruba Continue to Be Ahead in Nigeria
Yesterday, on Monday, November 24, 2025, Southwest Governors met in Ibadan, Oyo State, to discuss the current insecurity challenges facing Nigeria. They forgot political divisions and saw themselves as neither Governors with a common goal. Not one state was missing. All states were there. The Lukumi Yoruba Governors came up with suitable ideas, set up a budget, and made money available to establish an insecurity fund, as well as nominating managers for the fund.
Now, mind you, of all the regions, the Southwest is the zone least plagued by insecurity. There have been no school abductions ever in the Southwest, and the type of banditry, kidnappings, or violence that exists in some other parts of Nigeria is non-existent there. Furthermore, none of these states has been listed in the travel advisories of various Western countries as places to avoid, unlike other sections of Nigeria.
Yet, the Southwest is the only area whose Governors have met to adopt a coordinated, action-backed strategy to proactively fight insecurity.
Think about that for a second. Let it sink in!
Now, when the Southwest continues to progress and contribute more to Nigeria's GDP and VAT fund than all the other five zones combined, someone will wake up from their slumber and say, 'It is because of Lagos port.’
They will not remember when their own Governors, who are facing the fiercest insecurity in Nigeria, carried on as though they were on a picnic.
And then, after this protectiveness, sacrifice, and visionary thinking by the Southwest Governors, one shallow-minded individual will come out to say, 'Lagos is a No Man's Land,' or 'We Built Lagos!'
Why are the Lukumi Yoruba ahead in Nigeria? It has NOTHING to do with ports and EVERYTHING to do with leadership!
They do not, and cannot, have Governors who will build breweries when there are no schools, or travel abroad when their states are on fire. And that is why approximately 6,000 people enter Lagos every day. Many in night busses because Lagos is their boss!

Dear Njoku,
Thank you for your feedback. Let me start with VAT.
In 2024, Oyo State alone contributed ₦272.41 billion to the federal purse through VAT revenue. This amount is three times the combined contributions of the five Southeastern states.
Mind you, Oyo State is the Southern state farthest from any port. According to the National Bureau of Statistics, Oyo made this money from agriculture, the service industry and manufacturing.
Mind you, after contributing so much, Oyo received only ₦116.83 billion back from the Federal Government.
To be exact, in 2024, the five states of Nigeria's South-East region together generated only ₦101.09 billion in Value Added Tax to the Federal Government and received ₦341.45 billion.
In terms of landmass, Oyo State alone is 28,454 square kilometres, which is equal to the land mass of the entire Southeast.
Ondo State alone produces approximately 60,000 barrels of crude oil per day, which is more than the combined total produced by the Southeast. Lagos alone also contributes more oil to the federation than the entire Southeast, of which we love our brothers and sisters from that region.
The Yoruba also produced the first Black African Nobel laureate for an academic category (Wole Soyinka), and the first Black African military ruler to have voluntarily handed over to a civilian President (Olusegun Obasanjo), and the first Nigerian to win a Grammy Award (Sade Adu) as well as the first person born and bred in Africa to have won a Pulitzer Prize (Dele Olojede).
Additionally, Igbo only became a written language by virtue of Samuel Ajayi Crowther's book, which was the first ever book in the Igbo language, titled Isoama-Ibo: A Primer, published in 1857. Bishop Crowther also wrote the second book about the Igbo language titled 'Vocabulary of the Ibo Language', published in 1882.
Finally, the reason Nigeria still exists today is President Obasanjo. Along with his field officers, Alani Akinrinade and Godwin Alabi-Isama, Colonel Obasanjo defeated the rebel Republic of Biafra on Thursday, January 15, 1970, and achieved the remarkable feat of capturing their remaining leaders alive after Lt. Colonel Ojukwu fled, and forcibly bringing them to Lagos to declare unconstitutional surrender. In a sense, he saved Nigeria.
Njoku, we love our Igbo brothers and sisters, as well as other Nigerians, and we all contribute significantly to Nigeria's greatness.
Thanks again, and may God bless you.
BREAKDOWN OF UPDATE FROM THE DSS ON VARIOUS ONGOING TERRORISM TRIALS
1. Newly Charged IPOB Commanders (Simon Ekpa Link).
The DSS has filed Terrorism Charges against seven IPOB key commanders linked to Simon Ekpa. The suspects, who are identified as IPOB commanders, arms dealers/couriers, ESN fighters, and foot soldiers, are accused of receiving funds and material support for their terrorism activities in the southeast from Ekpa and other foreign-based IPOB members. The cases were filed on November 19, 2025, under file numbers FHC/ABJ/CR/632/2025, FHC/ABJ/CR/633/2025, and FHC/ABJ/CR/634/2025. This group includes a key suspect, Ibrahim Ali Larabo, an illegal immigrant from the Republic of Niger who specialized in terrorism financing. Larabo operated an unlicensed Bureau de change (BDC) to receive and disburse large sums of money for the proscribed group. Their alleged financier, Simon Ekpa, has already been convicted and sentenced to six years imprisonment in Finland.
2. Successfully Prosecuted Terrorist (Ismaila a.k.a Mai Tangaran).
The DSS has secured the successful prosecution and conviction of Ismaila (a.k.a Mai Tangaran), a leader of the Islamic State of West Africa (ISWAP). Ismaila was responsible for coordinating the 2012 attacks on the Police Headquarters in Bompai, Kano State, and other critical facilities. His trial, which began in 2017, concluded on November 18, 2025, when Justice Emeka Nwite of the Federal High Court in Abuja pronounced the verdict. Ismaila was convicted on a four-count charge under the Terrorism Prevention Amendment Act 2013. He received a cumulative sentence of 15 years on count one and 20 years each on counts two, three, and four, with all sentences running concurrently.
3. Internationally-Wanted Suspects Awaiting Trial Resumption.
The trial for two internationally-wanted terror suspects will resume before Justice Nwite of the Federal High Court in Abuja on January 15, 2026. These individuals are Mahmud Muhammad Usman (aka Mamuda) and Abubakar Abba (aka Abu Baara).
4. Ongoing Prosecution for High-Profile Bombing.
The prosecution continues for Khalid Al‑Barnawi, who is accused of being the mastermind of the UN complex bombing on August 26, 2011. Al-Barnawi is being prosecuted alongside four other individuals for their involvement in the attack.
5. Suspects in the Owo Church and Other Regional Attacks.
Five individuals are currently arraigned on a nine-count charge (FHC/ABJ/CR/301/2025) before the Federal High Court in Abuja for their alleged involvement in the June 5, 2022, attack on St. Francis Catholic Church, Owo, Ondo State. Additionally, the DSS is prosecuting 10 suspects arrested in connection with attacks carried out in Benue and Plateau states. These arrests were made following a direct directive from President Bola Tinubu to apprehend the perpetrators of the regional attacks.
6. High-Value Suspects Awaiting Arraignment.
Two other key suspects are scheduled for arraignment. The first is the recaptured Abdulazeez Obadaki (aka Bomboy), an internationally known ISWAP leader who has reportedly confessed to masterminding the attacks on St Francis Catholic, Owo, and Deeper Life Church, Okene. The second is Musa Abubakar, a key manufacturer and supplier of arms and ammunition, who was arrested in Plateau State.
7. New DG-DSS Directives and Mandate
Upon assuming office in August 2024, the DG-DSS, Oluwatosin Adeola Ajayi, issued critical directives to enhance prosecution efforts. He ordered the review of all inherited cases and mandated that forensic investigations be conducted on these cases to ensure diligent prosecution in accordance with Nigerian laws.
The Federal High Court in Abuja on Thursday sentenced the leader of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, to life imprisonment.
Justice James Omotosho, who presided over the trial, found Kanu guilty of seven terrorism-related offences.
Below is a rundown of the offences for which the IPOB leader was convicted:
🇲🇦 Morocco’s Ouarzazate Solar Power Station (NOOR Complex) ranks among the largest concentrated solar power sites worldwide.
→ Total capacity: 582 MW
→ It supports Morocco’s goal of reaching 52% renewable energy by 2030
→ It reduces reliance on imported power
→ Its molten-salt storage keeps electricity available after sunset to meet evening demand
