@nexta_tv I usually like your content, but this was just a training accident and your headline should reflect that. Clickbaiting just drives people away.
@cullenwerks@nexta_tv EU's "funding" to Russia: 12% of EU's gas and 2% of our oil still comes from Russia. By the end of this year the gas imports will drop to 6% and all RU fuel imports to EU will be banned by the end of 2027 when the last old corporate contracts expire. Also how are we in deep shit?
@ValeroS1995@Megatron_ron Lies, RU has refused all negotiations unless its territorial demands are met, ie. "peace" for Russia means the unconditional surrender of Ukraine; you think UKR just accepts and gives up its territories without a fight, especially now when they have liberated alot of territories?
@JC_YOUT@martyj99@BowesChay What lie? Wasn't it Russia who in 2014 invaded Donbas and annexed Crimea, and in 2022 invaded the rest of Ukraine? That's a fact. Believing that it was anybody elses decision or fault requires some serious mental gymnastics and eating up Kremlin's propaganda.
@JohnNielsecjo0@Rusia_HD Canada's military aid ($8.5 bn of the $25 bn) has gone into ammo, AFVs, drones/counter-drone eq, medical supplies and other capabilities. Canada has also funded some UKR air-defence through NATO; and UKR does have many AA systems but the problem is that missiles are running low.
@LordDSofCanada@olex_scherba If you'd examine the details of all the events you's know that it was more nuanced than just a plain coup; Yanukovich broke his promises to get away from Russian influence; people protested and Yanukovich fled - and was then voted off by the parliament.

Situation on the Lyman direction, Donetsk Oblast:
Over the last two weeks, Ukrainian forces continued their counteroffensive north of Lyman, and have made additional tactically important advances, crossing into Luhansk Oblast and coming close to eliminating the Russian Zherebets River bridgehead.
In the north, after recapturing the village of Hrekivka, Ukrainian forces continued to advance deeper into Luhansk Oblast, pushing southeast down a tributary of the Zherebets River and each into the forests west of Makiivka, working to push the remaining Russian forces out of their strongpoints between Hrekivka and Makiivka. Simultaneously, other assault groups were able to break through Russian lines east of Novomykhailivka, entering a number of forested areas along the Donetsk-Luhansk regional border, prompting Russia to retreat from the newly formed salient southwest of Hrekivka. The loss of these forward positions has allowed Ukraine to begin supporting their push east of Hrekivka by attacking in an easterly direction from the Novomykhailivka area, entering advancing towards the village of Balka Zhuravka (formerly called Nevske).
The advance on Balka Zhuravka is taking place from both the northwest and west. From the west, Ukrainian assault groups consolidated in the forests east of Katerynivka and broke through to the larger forests northwest of Novolyubivka, which they are now storming from multiple directions. This has allowed some Ukrainian DRG groups to cross the Zherebets River via Novolyubivka and begin operating in the area of Balka Zhuravka and Terny, east of the river.
To the south, Ukrainian forces continued advancing down the gulley stretching southeast from Katerynivka to Novosadove, reaching the Zherebets River at a new point, and beginning fighting for the forested areas north of Ivanivka. Other assault groups managed to capture a series of strongpoints in the forests west of Ivanivka and are now working to isolate the remaining Russian formations entrenched along the western bank of the Zherebets River.
Further south, the Ukrainians entrenched in the western part of Kolodyazi and have almost cleared the rest of the village. Other assault groups broke through Russian defences east of Stavky, penetrating northeast for over 5 kilometres, recapturing the village of Myrne. Clearing operations against the remaining scattered Russian positions outside Kolodyazi are ongoing in order to begin the final assault south of Ivanivka. Additionally, following weeks of attacks, Ukrainian forces managed to establish a foothold in northwestern Zarichne, which they are now using to try infiltrate across the Zherebets River into the Torske Fish Farm, and south towards the centre of Zarichne, where they are facing fierce resistance from Russian defenders.
To the southwest, Ukrainian forces launched a new series of counterattacks closer to Lyman itself, where they managed to clear the fields south of Stavky and gain a foothold in the western part of the large Pynkov Gulley. From here, they are infiltrating east along the forests in the gulley, attempting to reach the western part of Zarichne. This is being supported by additional attacks into the forests north of the gulley. Additionally, the Russian infiltrators in the northern part of Lyman were finally cleared, allowing Ukraine to re-establish control over the remaining fields north of the city as well, further pushing the Russians away from the city limits.
Further south, Ukrainian assault groups cleared the earlier Russian infiltrations into the area of the highway south of Lyman and initiated new counterattacks towards the Lyman-Siversk Highway, which they were able to reach from the direction of Brusivka and Dibrova. Heavy fighting continues for the Ozerne area and the strongpoints along the highway southwest of Yampil, without any major changes in the frontline.
+ ~83.16 km² in favour of Ukraine.
@JeffHashen@Frobenius11@WarMonitor3 Russia is free to end the war by leaving Ukraine, nothing to do with the EU. If you think the war is somehow EU's fault you must believe in some crazy ass conspiracy theories or Kremlin's propaganda.
🚨 MAJOR DEFEAT IN THE DONBAS: KREMLIN PANIC EXPOSED 💥
Putin’s forces just suffered a massive strategic loss in the Donetsk region:
• Over 200 km² abandoned by Russian troops.
• Strategically vital bridgehead north of Lyman lost.
The timing tells the whole story:
Right before this frontline collapse, "Vitjok" and "Zjatjok" rushed to Kyiv to pressure Ukraine into a "surrender along the demarcation line."
It’s now crystal clear: they were dispatched on direct orders from a panicking Kremlin that knew the Donbas line was about to cave in. They tried to freeze the war through political pressure because they couldn't hold it on the battlefield.
The map doesn't lie. Strategy failed, diplomacy failed.
@Madeline_taa@WarMonitor3 Your republican government enacted NATO Article 5 after 9/11 and all of NATO jumped to Afghanistan to help you fight al-Qaeda and the Taliban, and now you're saying the US shouldn't respect Article 5 if an European NATO country gets attacked? You MAGA Americans are hypocrites.
@Stella40156@BowesChay No, shame on ruZZia for invading Ukraine and prolonging the war. It's because of their illegal war of aggression that they are not allowed to represent their flag. Also praising her "russian genes" is ridiculous, it's more likely her training than genes lol
@JokeDasselaar@InscoeStephen@Kasparov63 Irrelevant as none of those countries supply RU with more tanks/AFVs; RU has lost up to 25~30% of its pre-war armored offensive capability–even with old Soviet tank stocks that are already depleted. RU couldn't invade EU for years after the war ends, and the EU is arming as well.
