I set my Take Profit for $CYS at $1.0151. The price crashed to $0.9758, yet the exchange failed to close my position. Even when I attempted to close the trade manually, the order was not executed.

This resulted in a significant loss that I believe could have been avoided if the platform had executed my TP or manual close as intended.

I’m requesting an immediate investigation, a clear explanation of what happened, and a refund/compensation for the loss caused by the execution failure.

The key idea is position sizing: you are not putting your whole futures balance at risk on one trade. You are allocating only 5% across your 1st, 2nd, and 3rd entries.

For example, with a $1,000 futures balance:

Total trade allocation = $50 (5%)

Entry 1 = $16.67

Entry 2 = $16.67

Entry 3 = $16.66

So even if the entire $50 allocation is lost, the remaining $950 is still available for future trades.

One important distinction: 5% allocation does not automatically mean 5% maximum account loss leverage, liquidation, stop-loss placement, and fees can change the actual loss. But keeping your total trade risk small is the foundation of good risk management.

If you are below 40 years old, read what I want to say now carefully.

There was a time when owning a house or a car only required saving a 1 to 2 years worth of average income.

Today, that economic ladder is much harder to climb for many of us younger than 40.
