@PorchPatriot@ramzpaul Here was my first post verbatim: "Star Wars was NEVER for kids, it was for the whole family. And in the 70's and 80's, ADULTS drove the box office receipts, not kids. It was NEVER a kids movie." Still stands correct.
@PorchPatriot@dylanhightower_@ramzpaul I said it was a family movie from my first post. Please read. It was always for both adults and kids. It was NEVER a kids movie. We can keep going bro. Every time you reply, you only make me stronger. DO IT.
THE MANDALORIAN AND GROGU is a shockingly inept film. The story is episodic meaninglessness which neither illuminates anything new about the characters or the universe itself. It’s clearly just a repurpose of season four scripts into a feature film. So disappointing.
@ScottyWho69@emkenobi The ONLY reason the Star Wars OT succeeded was b/c it had a GREAT story. There were plenty of "sci fi flix" in the 80's that went nowhere fast.
Not every Star Wars project needs to be like Andor. But every Star Wars project should have a good story, especially when it’s the first Star Wars movie in almost a decade. I’m seeing too many people defend Mando and Grogu by saying it’s just a fun movie. I didn’t realize fun meant nothing of substance. We can have fun projects with good writing guys pls stop settling for less that’s why we keep getting shit. HAVE STANDARDS PLS 😭
The Mandalorian and Grogu is a truly Retarded film, I mean brain breaking dumb with boring characters that can't even emote or talk.
It's absolutely consistent with the quality we've come to expect from Disney Star Wars.
Full review out soon!
@FinalE33 This film is an absolute NOTHING-BURGER and when you compare it to the past greatness of Star Wars, its just downright embarrassing. This was a fine TV, did not need to be anywhere near a silver screen.
@LiteWeightGames The Mandolorian is absolutely pointless. Meaningless action + "cute Baby Yoda" moments does not make a good film. This film feels more like "content" than an actual movie.
Mandalorian and Grogu
It's boring as fuck and pointless. It has no reason to exist other than to prove, once again, that Disney Star Wars is completely dead.
It's just random quests and attempts to give Baby Yoda "cute" moments for social media reactions.
Fuck this movie.
@PorchPatriot@ramzpaul Of course kids liked Star Wars. Star Wars was made for FAMILIES and George made that clear. It had nearly equal numbers of adult and kid fans. It was never a "kids movie", it was meant for all ages.
