Dr Anjan Ghosh (Director of Public Health, KCC) took some time out in the shade to record some top tips to help stay safe and well during this current heatwave.

1️⃣ Keep cool - Stay inside if you can, especially between 11-3pm when the sun is at it's hottest. Drink plenty of water and close your windows and curtains during the day if the air is warmer outside
2️⃣ Stay hydrated - Drink lots of water and carry a bottle of water with you if you go out
3️⃣ Be prepared - For yourself and others. If you can, please check on vulnerable family, friends and neighbours to ensure they are staying cool and hydrated.
