The winter season is still months away, but Rough Rider Swim & Dive is already putting in the work. After several historic seasons, the Riders are building on that momentum this summer. Great to see so many incoming freshmen joining practices & becoming part of the team culture.

Before Monday’s Swim banquet, Nicole Cornici, Coco Golden, Sophia Richards, & Trinity Heath, alongside Coach Corey Spicer, added their names to the school record board—cementing a 1:40.87 in the 200 Free Relay that broke a 29-year-old mark.

Trinity Heath with maybe her best swim yet in Canton as she takes 17th in the 100 free (53.06). She was the 31st seed and the seventh seed in her own heat, which she won. Super impressive close to Heath's junior year.

She also took 19th in the 50 (24.40).

The Roosevelt boys 200 free relay takes 20th in the state with a time of 1:31.73.

Pretty impressive given the Rough Riders had to replace all four swimmers from last year's 200 free relay that finished 14th in the state.

In Roosevelt junior Max Froman's state debut as an individual, he takes 28th in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:02.08.
