6 months until Christmas! ✨🤩 And though the summer sunshine finally seems to have arrived, our countdown has very much started.

The turkeys arrived with us a couple of weeks ago now, and as you can see we quickly and carefully introduced them to their new home!

They are currently being house in our cosy barns on clean shavings with 24/7 access to plenty of feed & water. As they grow, they become less reliant on heat lamps and we slowly acclimatise them to being outdoors & free roaming.

We’ll be sharing more over the coming days and weeks, including what makes our turkeys special and lots from behind the scenes as turkey farmers.

And so the 2024 turkey season begins!
As an official KellyBronze farmer, all of our birds are bred specially for us in their natural season, and are a special breed reared by the family over 75 years ago.

They arrive direct from the hatchery at just one day old, and spend their first weeks indoors under heat lamps in our clean and spacious indoor barn, preparing them for free range life outdoors as soon as they are old enough.

Kent Turkeys - a little more about us and our free range KellyBronze turkeys.
Tony Fleck, owner of Kent Turkeys, has been a KellyBronze farmer for over 20 years and we are one of the only, and certainly the largest, KellyBronze farmer in Kent, rearing up to 1,200 birds each year.

Plus, with options including whole turkeys, crowns and breast roasts as well as legs, thighs, wings, sausages, mince and pies, there’s something to suit all sizes of celebrations.

Orders are now open, with collection points across Kent including from Woolpack Corner Farm itself.

Orders for 2023 Christmas turkeys are open, so we’ll also be able to answer any questions on placing an order with us and talk you through the different turkey options - all reared here on our farm near Biddenden.
