@ManyATrueNerd This is an incredibly awesome take and not something I’d ever even considered. There’s no reason a design choice made in 2002 should be something I have to commit to memory for the rest of my life.

@DeathyChris@SpaceKitaaRiSE "In perpetuity." The word "Sentai" never appears once in the pertinent documents; as written to the letter, whoever owns PR would have right of first refusal on distribution all Toei L-A shows.
But, we'll never know what future amendments added/removed.

There is nothing in the contract — the one around which all assumptions about the relationship b/t Toei and whoever owns PR are still made, given its language — that suggests a rebrand of Super Sentai would materially alter how Toei can distribute it.

Yup.
It’s the thinking behind it. That scene is basically a Rorschach. He saw what he felt. “Black people dont belong here.” Then went “Let me demonstrate how unlikely it is that they’d be here.” That indicates to me, a very conscious and continual litigation of where Black people belong.
Furthermore the idea of running the numbers to show how far inclusion has gone denotes to me that you have a problem with it. Having an issue with inclusion is racist. If it bothers you that a Black person, or an Asian person showed up in a place that Black people, and Asian people lived, in whatever numbers, then you’re a racist.
Maybe that was the one day a Black and Asian person roamed the streets. Maybe they are part of a secret Black and Asian alliance to fight vampires in 1800s Chicago and this is the first meeting. Who fucking cares? Unless you are tired of seeing Black people and Asian people in spaces where you feel like they don’t belong …
Which makes you a racist.

JDF has been gone nearly 3 years and his final project is still not released, backers still not receiving their rewards, and allegations aplenty.
@LivingRangerKey Know everyone's situations and needs are different, but one of the best mental-health decisions I've made in the last year — and I know it was almost exactly a year ago, because it was soon after the POTUS election — was remove myself from all family group chats.
The word "Sentai" doesn't appear once in that contract (with or without "Super"). It is an irrelevant brand as far as the contract is concerned. Presuming nothing meaningful has changed about this perpetual agreement, rebrand is a nothing-burger as far as distribution goes.

His brother and friend aware of the situation believe there is no coming back from this. Just trying to be transparent as a lot of shock and grief are happening.
Adam was an incredibly kind & wonderful man. He started #ILovePowerRangers and was something he was proud of. - Eric
Hey everyone. I heard from a mutual friend of @liladam87 a few hours ago.
Technically he’s on life support, but brain dead. There is talk of pulling him off. He suffered a stroke while on vacation in Las Vegas. He fell and hit his head which lead to bleeding on the brain. (1/2)

The #PowerRangersPreservationProject Presents Forever Red: Cole Meets Alpha 7!
Celebrating #PowerRangersDay with this restored deleted scene from Season 10’s epic Red Ranger Reunion, painstakingly built from scratch by the talented Kadam’s Edits from the recovered raw dailies by PR Media Info. Presumably cut for time, this scene took place on the Megaship Mark II between taking off from NASADA and Tommy’s team briefing in the war room.
Andros leads the other Red Rangers of Earth down the hall — TJ feeling right at home aboard the familiar ship; Jason stoically impressed; Eric stoked in front of Wes; Carter in awed silence; and finally Cole, taking in the experience with childlike innocence. Getting lost staring into space, the Blazing Lion is interrupted by Alpha 7 — originally properly introduced in this scene as a walking database of everything Power Rangers. Having grown up in the jungle and never seen a robot before, Cole reacts to the automaton with wonder.
We teased this footage years ago before launching the Preservation Project, and we’re proud to finally present this lost scene as it was intended — complete with music and sound, special effects, and a very special feature by Campbell Cooley as Alpha 7! Campbell voiced Alpha 6 in Once a Ranger [Operation Overdrive’s Season 15 Anniversary Special], going on to voice Snide [Dino Charge], Cosmo Royale [Ninja Steel], Scrozzle [Beast Morphers], and Slyther [Dino Fury].
