Both the Ambassador and the College leadership reaffirmed their shared commitment to deepening educational cooperation between Kenya and Ireland and agreed to promote higher education opportunities in Ireland for Kenyan students.

Today, 9th July 2026, H.E. Amb. George Morara Orina MBS, met and held discussions with Dr. Paula Kenny, President of Independent College, who was accompanied by Mr. Owen Keating, Commercial Director, and Ms. Jennifer Hellis, Director of Student Admissions.

The Ambassador also had the honour of touring the College's facilities, gaining firsthand insights into the institution's learning environment.

Ambassador George Morara Orina and Councillor Lillian Seenoi-Barr agreed to work closely together to support the Kenyan diaspora in Ireland, strengthen Kenya Ireland relations and promote economic cooperation for mutual benefit between the two countries.

Kenya remains committed to expanding market access for Kenyan products in Ireland, attracting Irish investment, and strengthening partnerships with key stakeholders to advance shared economic interests.
