In New York, held talks with the Crown Prince of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah.
We agreed to work towards enhancing trade and investment between our nations, investing in education, developing Special Economic Zones, implementing labour agreements and accessing markets for Kenyan products.

This afternoon, I had the honour of representing Kenya at the Kuwait National Day Celebrations, marking 65 years since the country’s independence.
Kenya and Kuwait enjoy long-standing bilateral ties that have created the platform for partnership across various sectors, including education, where the Kuwaiti Government continues to support infrastructure development in parts of the country.
Closing the 5th DCO General Assembly
Honored to conclude the 5th DCO General Assembly. Over the past few days, we’ve strengthened our collective resolve to bridge the digital divide and foster a borderless, inclusive digital economy for all member states.
Kenya remains steadfast in its commitment to driving innovation and digital transformation across the continent and beyond. Together, we are not just witnessing the future; we are building it.
Productive bilateral engagement with H.E, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Digital Development and Transport.
On the sidelines of the DCO General Assembly, we explored collaboration in digital infrastructure, e-government services, and enhanced regional connectivity. Kenya remains committed to sharing best practices and building partnerships that advance digital inclusion and economic growth.

On the sidelines of the DCO General Assembly, we discussed accelerating MoUs in the pipeline to strengthen our bilateral trade ties expanding tea and coffee exports, collaborating on pharmaceutical manufacturing, and advancing digital infrastructure.
Kenya is also keen to leverage Jordan’s strategic EPZs to access global markets as we deepen cooperation on the Digital Economy and the Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA).
