“Black people are oftentimes expected to fix what they didn’t break”
- @ReignOfApril on how America oftentimes places the onus of DEI efforts onto Black ppl by expecting us to form, lead & implement efforts to fix the systemic inequality and marginalization we didn’t create.
People are really going through it. Sending so much love praying God's light illuminates the parts of people's hearts that are broken, in despair and down. God loves you!! <3
Main goal for July:
No more waiting. Don’t get stuck in the planning stage. You know what you need to do, be bold and start making moves even if the plan is not fully clear.
It’s wild how TikTok trends now dictate what’s on the radio. The music landscape is changing before our eyes & I don’t love that… especially since TT decides which songs to based on virality vs. talent. Too much power
Always remember it is the LORD who opens and closes doors. Don’t let men fool you into believing they are in control of how your destiny will transpire. God will even use your enemies to get you through a door
When you choose yourself, watch how people react. I will always choose my peace, joy, and self preservation over temporary things and people who have never put me first.
