I love seeing these young Black Kings cross the Winston-Salem State University stage in style! But before they set out the hop, they put in the work and earned every honor they deserved. Excellence and Brotherhood go hand in hand! 💜💛 #OmegaPsiPhi

When we elect Keisha as governor, we will elect a champion for Georgians' voting rights.
As governor, Keisha will veto any voting maps that diminish fair representation and she will protect access to free and fair elections in Georgia. #gapol
@ajlamesa She has an unmatched record of accomplishments-a few noted here. She is the only candidate who has taken on DJT and won.Repubs tried to take her on and she won.Kemp sued her and lost that fight. She stopped Burt from taking over airport. Anyone else have a record of accomplishment?
It was 58 years ago on April 4, 1968, when the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated in Memphis, Tenn. The shot rang out at 6:01 pm CST. One bullet silenced one of the greatest Americans in history. But as Andrew Young has told me many times, Dr. King may not be with us physically, but every day somewhere in the world he is being mentioned and discussed. #NeverForget
He didn't give you what you deserved; He gave you another chance. Can I get a witness and a shout of praise for a God who is a miracle worker?

Today, we celebrate St. Louis labor activist and equal rights champion, Ora Lee Malone. Malone was a fearless fighter who spent more than fifty years working to advance the rights of women, Black people, and low-wage workers.
From fighting for voting rights in the segregated south, to labor organizing in St. Louis, and eventually joining Nelson Mandela’s campaign against apartheid in South Africa, Malone spent her life bringing people together to fight for a future where all people’s rights are protected.
Malone also played an essential role in the founding of the Coalition of Black Trade Unionists, the Coalition of Labor Union Women, and many other labor organizations. Her legacy as an organizer and an advocate lives on here in St. Louis as we keep the fight for justice alive.
For the first time, five African American surgeons now lead the Trauma Service at the preeminent Johns Hopkins Hospital. This milestone, recognized during Black History Month, proves generations of determination behind every title. Linsey Davis reports. https://t.co/QzCTi776bC
Every year, this Valentine's Day-themed trolley can be seen rolling through Philadelphia.
Its operator, Gary Mason, says this will be the last trolley he decorates before retirement.
Jilly from Philly is back!

Happy Birthday to the legendary Rosa Parks, whose courage sparked a revolution. 🖤
Today, we honor a woman who, with one simple act of defiance, changed the course of history. Her refusal on that Montgomery bus was strategic, courageous, and rooted in a belief that dignity is nonnegotiable. It disrupted the everyday violence of segregation and forced the nation to reckon with itself.
Her legacy is a reminder that progress is not born from comfort, but from people willing to take a stand when the cost is high. #BlackHistoryMonth
