@akaihinansho There is no weakness in saying your worry about or struggle with your mental health. It usually takes a courage most people do not have.

Not saying this was great, it often didn't fully cure and caused relapse. Also many died in the process.

Just finished my #DnD session as a DM again. I just can't get over the thrill it gives to entertain players to really dig into their characters over a simple 1 paragraph plotline I came up with. What are your favourite #DM joys?

I know there are people out there that aren't really enjoying being a GM.
They just seem to do it since noone else will, which I feel is a shame for everyone involved.
I do not know your players, so maybe easier if you ask them ;-)

@Bob_Francis That is really cool indeed. I remember once that as a player I did something similar, having a complete adventurer wagon stocked with all sorts of items one could need like shovels, crowbars, but also poles, rope and ofcourse ball bearings and caltrops.

Last update after which I am going to put my phone away to mentally prepare for the #DnD session. An update on the progress of the fantasy version of my home town city map in which I combine historic maps with current day satellite images. #cartography

Since one of the PCs in tonights #DnD session has an obsession with cooking and figuring out meals, I made a whole menu with additional DCs for her to find out the ingredients.
This is going to be so much fun.

Last session, despite asking several times what their characters would like to do with no answer, at the start of the session a PC declared he needed a Troglodyte liver. Guess who turned that session into a Troglodyte hunt in 5-10m?

@PawsKittie_ @ChickenlyNerd It feels horrible and cringy since you have not heard it as often recorded as you have heard it live with some rather distorting acoustics.
So best way is to listen to your recorded voice, over and over and over again.
