Keptie Friends volunteer group. We got together to solve the algae problem in Keptie Pond. We opened an ancient well in the park and fed fresh spring water in.

The cabinet to house the electricity supply for the borehole has been installed and will soon be accompanied by a second, housing the borehole pipework. This follows work undertaken by Ian Smith and his workforce. Spring fresh clean water for Easter is our target - George Park
Keptie Friends clean up takes place on Sunday, 24th February at 11 am. The clean ups attract 25 to 30 volunteers every last Sunday of the month. Spend an hour cleaning up around the pond, find out about our well project. New volunteers welcome, please Retweet🦆
