Unfortunately that's not how online games work. Wether we like it or not we sign a social contract just to be able to play.
Time to get off that high horse you ride in on. This whole conversation has been for fun and rather humourous. You really think you can have a civil conversation on X? Hell I've tried only to be called every name in the book just for having a slightly different opinion.
So how about you grow up. Learn to contribute to the conversation in a meaningful way rather than insult someone immediately.
I only talk shit once someone starts it.
Yea, especially when you paid to be in the beta. I never once said that was good either.
I just simply saying their moderation ( since they insist on it in the ToS) needs to be fair and not so egregiously strict by banning people for names and surname that were so tame.
Maybe I misunderstood your position from the get go, it's almost like we are on the same page, save the moderation aspect.
Kinda hard to understand your position when you open up to my intial reply calling me a woke gay retard and several combinations of those words in subsequent post lol Kinda puts ya on the defensive :P
It was fun fighting all night lets agree to disagree on the moderation.
have a good one!
@pwave_studios@asmodairedchair@pwave_studios I agree with you there, there is too much censorship in a lot of our media/entertainment. But yet again it seems I have to say this: It's their game, their rules.
Make your own game and unleash the cesspit you want! An AO Rated MMORPG, wondering how'd that go lol
@asmodairedchair@pwave_studios Yup, and he'll block me if he gets angry at me. I havent replied to him directly in a long time. I am replying to dipsticks like you.
Let me take a step back a moment from "fun' post and let me talk about something serious.
I am hoping that there will be some decent people seeing this and offer some advice, more importantly outside perspective.
I am not going to use names, locations or any identifiable information about the person or event I am speaking about, they will be referred by their gender.
I have a someone in my life that I have always known and have been extremely proud of all my life. I looked at this person almost as an example of how to live life, how to handle tough situations and how to be a decent human being.
HE has now ruined his life, ruined his family and is going to lose everything and WILL not be recovering from what he has done.
I got a call about what happened before going to work one night, work graveyard shift, and I could not process the information correctly as I had to get to work. I needed to focus to do my job and stay safe doing it, so that's what I did. I had laser focus all night until it suddenly hit me like a ton of bricks.
I left work after about 2 hours of being there and had to go home and process this. I am driving home at 2:30am down a rural road and lost focus for a split second and almost went off the road. I knew I was messed up, so I pulled over took a quick breather and got home safely.
I was off work for 2 more days as a result as I just didn't feel safe as I was so distracted. I was grieving....
I was grieving the fact that he was not the person I knew and that I may never see him again. Grieving him as if he died.
I believe I have already gone through the 5 stages of grief and have accepted the fact he's all but gone now.
If any of you have ever experienced anything similar, I am first of all sorry, but I need to know how you got through it?
I've spoken with my family, and even a good friend who is a working Therapist and it just doesn't seme to be enough. I don't want his mistakes to cost me anything any longer.
@JonasV68354747@BaegulTheDwarf I agree. One person may find something offensive while others may not.
How do we go about correcting this situation as ultimately there has to be some concession as the way things are now just will not suffice.
@lastchalice While I agree, the reputational damage is done. A lot of people won't take another look at something that was one broken, now fixed as their time has already been wasted.
I haven't enjoyed twitter/X this much in a long time.
Talking to the best and worst the platform has to offer. Seeing both sides of humanity can be humbling sometimes, but you have to remember one thing.
When life throws you arrogant assholes, you just keep on moving. Don't stop, unless you want to have a little fun arguing then move on to the next conversation.
Look we all know you transitioned recently Kristoff, not everyone is like you. Not everyone has lady parts thus you need to be able to differentiate between male and female sex organs for the sake of social interactions.
Otherwise you might have people replying, "Can't, I'm elbow deep in your mom's" and we both know how distasteful that can be.
I can buy you a grade school anatomy book if you'd like.
