Please can you support Garnteg Primary when visiting Tescos Pontypool by adding blue tokens to our slot in the Stronger Starts box which is in front of the self service check out. We are hoping to get lots of new resources for our pupils with the money we receive. Thank you!
We’ve started the new year by sharing all the things we appreciate about one another in class 11. To kick start our Spring term topic we’ve been exploring the artwork of Jack Kirby and creating our own sketches to show perspective and movement @garntegprimary

Rydyn ni’n barod am ‘food for growth’ yfory. We have been adding the finishing touches to our items and freshly baking our banana bread. Join us at 3.30 in the school hall 🧅 🥕 @garntegprimary
Last week, pupils from different pupil voice teams across the school delivered an excellent presentation to our governors about what the school targets mean to pupils at Garnteg. The governors even played a Welsh game with Dewi the Dragon. Learning at its best. @garntegprimary
Finished painting a metal container for @garntegprimary The container is in the school’s allotment area next to another container that I’d painted in the Springtime, based on the fruit, vegetables and flowers being grown by the school pupils.
Well done to all the pupils who received their 100% attendance certificate and voucher today for 2024-25. We also gave over 60 certificates for 100% attendance this term and most improvement attendance rewards. Bendigedig pawb👏👏👏 #notinmissout@garntegprimary@torfaencouncil
Thank you @craigarmiger for a great day. We have remembered those fallen pilots and our own local legend Ken Clark who first took us on this walk many years ago. We sang songs, said prayers of reflection and had lots of fun along the way @garntegprimary@garnsychan#localhistory
A fantastic memorial walk to the Blenheim Bomber site. All of the children were so respectful and we were very lucky with the weather ☀️ @garntegprimary
