A few years ago, my finances hit rock bottom.

I needed money, but I had no capital, no fancy skills to sell, and not even a washing machine.

One day, I noticed something.

A lot of students in nearby boarding houses hated doing laundry. They were busy, lazy, or simply didn't have time.

So I came up with a weird idea.

I posted an ad on X offering a laundry service.

The funny part?

I didn't even own a washing machine.

When someone ordered, I would go around boarding houses collecting their dirty clothes.

Then I'd bring everything to a coin laundry and wash it there.

After that, I'd take the clothes home, iron them myself, spray them with laundry perfume, fold them neatly, and deliver them back.

To customers, I looked like a laundry business.

In reality, I was just one guy with a bag of clothes, a coin laundry, and a lot of determination.

The margins weren't huge.

But every order meant I could eat for another day.

What that experience taught me is that survival isn't always about having resources.

Sometimes it's about connecting resources that already exist.

I didn't have a washing machine.

I didn't own a laundry shop.

I didn't have employees.

But I had a way to solve a problem for people who were willing to pay for convenience.

When you're struggling financially, don't focus on what you don't have.

Start with what you do have.

A phone.

An internet connection.

Your time.

Your willingness to do work that other people don't want to do.

Many businesses start exactly like that.

Not with capital.

But with creativity.

The lesson: when you're broke, stop asking "What business can I start?" and start asking "What problem can I solve with the resources already around me?"
