Good job! But now handle the dang shutdown. So active duty service members and others get paid. Ridiculous congress still gets paid during this.

🇺🇸 GOV. DESANTIS RIPS PROPERTY TAXES: “IS IT REALLY YOUR LAND?”

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis questioned why Americans keep paying taxes on homes they have already bought.

DeSantis:

"You buy a home, you buy land... and then, you've been taxed many times [on that]...

Is it your property or not?

Just for being on your property, you've got to write a check to the government every year?"

Update:
As the Director and I close out our first few months in our roles, I want to provide another update on our efforts to both reform the FBI, and hunt down bad actors.
Some of these action items you may have already read about, some you may have not.

-We are mission-focused on crushing violent crime and making your neighborhoods noticeably safer. Here are some of the early results. We have arrested 14,000 violent criminals. This represents a 62% increase from the same period last year. Many of these violent criminals are cartel leaders, and child predators, and they’ll be looking at long prison terms. We also located and apprehended three of the FBI’s top ten “most wanted,” and we are closely tracking others. As a result, the murder rate is currently tracking to be the lowest on record. This is not a victory lap, we are doubling down hard.

-We have arrested over 825 violent child predators, and 140 human traffickers, as we aggressively pursue the filth that prey on our children. If you’re preying on our children, we are coming for you. It’s only a matter of time.

-We warned those violently acting out in the recent riots that we would restore order, and pursue you if you chose violence. Over 700 arrests have been made in coordination with our federal and state partners. Many of those arrests are members of organized groups, and we are pouring through data in pursuit of more bad actors. We are not done.

-In conjunction with our federal partners, we apprehended, imprisoned, and deported over 18,000 illegal aliens. Many of these illegal aliens had violent criminal histories. As a result, last month, ZERO illegals were admitted into our country. We are fully engaged in this mission, and we will move around our manpower as determined by conditions in the field.

-We made numerous personnel and structural changes to the leadership of the FBI to ensure the mistakes of the past are not repeated. Those changes continue. And, as a reminder, things are happening that we cannot publicly discuss. It does not mean they are not happening.

-I will send a separate, more detailed post shortly about our arrests of multiple foreign intelligence targets engaged in illegal activities. These cases continue as we move quickly to round up these threats to our Homeland.

-We are hyper-vigilant in protecting our Homeland given the current heightened global threat environment, while we deal with our CI, criminal and other critical responsibilities.

-There’s more work to be done. Stay tuned on additional disclosures, and updates on public corruption cases. And again, for those who have been patient with us, thank you. For those who are out of patience, thank you too. We understand we are in a RESULTS business.

God bless America, and all those who defend Her. 🇺🇸

🚨 BREAKING: SecDef Pete Hegseth stares right at the press and goes scorched earth, spelling out their insanity. I could watch this all day.

"You, and I mean specifically YOU, the press, you cheer against Trump so hard, it's in your DNA and in your blood to cheer against Trump, because you want him not to be successful so bad, you have to cheer against the efficacy of these strikes. You have to hope maybe they weren't effective."

"Maybe the way the Trump administration is representative isn't true. So let's take half truths, spun information, leaked information, and then spin it, spin it in every way we can to try to cause doubt and manipulate the mind, the public mind, over whether or not our brave pilots were successful."

"How many stories have been written about how hard it is to, I don't know, fly a plane for 36 hours? Has MSNBC done that story? Has Fox? Have we done the story how hard that is?"

"There are so many aspects of what our brave men and women did that because of the hatred of this press corps are undermined because people are trying to leak and spin that it wasn't successful. It's irresponsible."

"You're undermining the success of incredible B-2 pilots and incredible F-35 pilots and incredible refuelers and incredible air defenders who accomplished their mission."

"How about we talk about how special America is, that only we have these capabilities? I think it's too much to ask, unfortunately, for the fake news. So we're used to that."

This is great and all but the back pay part is a joke. They basically ask what you made after you got kicked out and subtract that from whatever pay was leftover on your contract. It’s a joke. I have tried to get one of my buddies back in and it’s just a play on words to hook.
