@MS_Martinez_MD I’m EM and have definitely had the hospitalist try to consult me for ear pain that the patient did not mention (and was not related to) his stroke workup. Separately, for a patient who sustained a laceration during a fall in the bathroom on the floor.

Looking for a new job during COVId is super weird. Long delays in hearing back on applications (HR working from home?), and Zoom interviews. Career changing in mid career is also super weird. Highly qualified, but not for this job?

Every horrific stumble in my 20 years of work has been caused by a woman, 7-20 years older than me, who did not like my: honesty, confidence, authenticity, attitude, “swagger.” Thanks Boomer Women, for failing to prepare me for the horrors of working under GenX women.
