@iqrafatma1278 I mean that’s not even $7 per person, this should have been at the very least a $60 tip, that’s really only $10 per person, but if we go by todays standards it should be at least 20% of the bill before taxes, so $100 should be the correct tip
@cutiieepie6 Just curious as to why? I mean 20% of bill is about the going rate, so with it being a $40 tip on a $150 bill is more than 20% it’s more like 26%, and the standard tipping rate as of 2026 is 18%-22%, so what’s the problem?
@Avabelly__ Tips are usually calculated as a percentage of the bill. I usually give 20% of the bill,you can do your own math but 20% of $500 is $100, so with her expecting at least $120 is a little less than 25%, I mean did you have to get up and go to a buffet and get your food, and drinks?
