Her ambition forces her to navigate — and often endure — the chaotic world of Corax Asylum while forging uneasy alliances and advancing her own goals.

Nicolas & the Triad: Allyra is locked in a volatile, obsessive, and intensely erotic relationship with Nicolas. She forms the third point of the Triad with Nicolas and his primal Evro Chester DeSilva (The Cat). Nicolas demands she remain under his “protection,” while she plays the long game for greater power.

Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma (2026)

I dont often give a modern horror 5 out 5 but, this one gets it.

Schoenbrun is in on the joke. A slasher gets handed to a director with orders to make the old camp “elevated.” That is studio language for a fresh coat of virtue on the same property. The brief is a shield. The boardroom wants cover, not a film.

What the movie actually chases is desire. The nasty tapes you watched too young. The ones that got under the skin and stayed there. Flesh and fluids first. Theory later, if it earns the right.

It satirises corporate woke tokenism with a straight face and a knife behind it. Hire the right name. Call it wokeness. Ship the reboot. Nobody in the meeting has to feel a thing.

Camp Miasma will not play that game. It puts the body back in the room and leaves the slogan on the table.

That is why it feels so refreshing. Most of these films lecture. This one remembers why you watched. And why the boardroom never did. Masterpiece if you can see through your own fear of the woke shadow boogeyman.
