The Dublin government is pushing the private wires bill through the vassal Dáil. This will enable large energy users like American data centres, to build their own electricity lines to connect directly to electricity providers like wind, solar and even gas, through privately owned wires. Amazon, Microsoft, Google and other Zionist dominated US corporations will be allowed to use Ireland as an energy colony for their strategic infrastructure, while the people of Ireland pay the bill.

The people of Ireland are already paying the highest energy prices in Europe through capacity payments, now the very same monopoly entities of the US-Israeili empire will get to syphon energy from corporate owned renewable energy infrastructure in order to greenwash their data fortresses, while the public grid is strained more and more and the burden of pollution and spiralling costs falls even more onto working people.

This blatant subservience to Zionist dominated Western imperialism shows the true nature of the 26 county regime. The kompromats of Leinster House are hitching their wagon to the dying beast of Western imperialism, hoping that the scraps from the spoils will be enough for the dinner plates of the Irish working class. They are staining their relations with Russia, China, Iran and all the other rising nations of the Global South in the process.

We are told to work longer, go into more debt, and commute further in cars owned by the same bankers who we bailed out after 2008. We are corralled into shopping centres on our time off to spend like good consumers, while Zionist dominated capital takes our land, our water, and our energy.

This is not a project of national development but a mode of neo-colonial subservience. The peadophiles at the top play in luxury, while paddy pays the bill.

Margaret Thatcher said during her privatisation drive in the 1980s, that there is no such thing as society, only individuals and their families. But the last 800 years of our history teaches us that this is not true, that colonisers have their reckoning and that our time will come. Well our time is coming soon and we must organise in our communities.

Only when we break the chains of Zionism, can we have a free sovereign 32 county socialist republic, one which the land, water and energy of Ireland will belong to the working people of Ireland.
