@elonmusk Be the face of access to Mental and intellectual health treatment, resources, services & programs! Every day a child is diagnosed with a mental and/or intellectual disability. Their parents are entered into a world of road blocks and hurdles that leave them deflated. We’ve launched Horizons to Hope, inc.(https://t.co/GgJm4gTKRo) , a Nonprofit, Access Point website. We aim to help with the disconnect between parents and the vital resources their children need to reach their fullest potential. https://t.co/cO5oqddl1N has launched in Bucks County Pa. We aim to expand into neighboring counties and eventually be available nationwide. With limited funds, we face financial road blocks that will delay our expansion and limit the availability of the resources and programs these special families need. As the mother of an adult son with intellectual & mental health disabilities, I know first hand how lonely it can be while trying to advocate for your child to get the care they need. Horizons to hope is a cost effective simple solution to helping these special parents find the resources & programs their children require. With Trump cutting back funds and in some cases eliminating funds for health care access, parents are left feeling alone & scared. Wouldn’t it be amazing for Elon to jump up and help this special group of parents & children. Make a mark in the lives of so many in need of a superhero! I am just a mother of a child with mental & intellectual disabilities who is on a mission to help parents of similar special needs children. Be the FACE of Mental & intellectual health support! The US is in the midst of a mental & intellectual health crisis. Parents struggle to find providers, resources and services. We have created Horizons to Hope, an access hub for parents to seek the support & programs their child needs from diagnosis to adulthood. We have launched in Bucks County Pa. We would like to expand to neighboring counties and eventually provide resource access nationwide. This is a huge mountain to climb! We will need financial support to make our dream a reality. We aim to build a team that can handle this climb to empower parents and help them find the care their unique children need.
