@KarlDuke8 @CrowdedHouseHQ@LincolnCastle I think I follow you for education related stuff but had to comment - my goodness that gig was blooming brilliant! First time I’ve seen them live and they were amazing ❤️ What a venue too?! 🏰
Bravo, Y6 @stjdinnington! GMT’s William Beech started the ball rolling and then we were inspired by poetry and film footage to write Haikus and sketch teddy bears (sketching idea pinched from a kind sharer on Twitter). ❤️
Thank you to @StWEnglishHub for organising such a fabulous reading-focussed day! The conference was a huge success. Well done @LucyMckerrow & team ❤️ Thank you to the wonderful speakers @TeresaCremin@jonnybid@RuddickRichard for the inspiration. First new book pictured 🤭💔
Had a cracking session with Y5 @stjdinnington this morning, analysing the text, images and layout in a graphic novel. Really interesting discussions and some fabulous drawings to boot!✏️🖊✏️🖊✏️🖊✏️🖊
Thank you @jamiesmart for the inspiration 🖤

Well, that was a fabulous story! Excellent narration on Audible from the author. The 9YO and two 40-somethings blooming loved it (we did have to keep singing the Blur song whenever we referred to it, though 😂)! 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Out and about in the school holidays 💚
1. Mum’s hidden plaque in a special place
2 & 3. Another of Mum’s special places, that, one day, will also be her final resting place 🍃✨🌱☀️
💭💭about the end of the school year… @stjdinnington Y6 really are a fabulous group of children & I wish them all the luck in the world as they take their next steps. We had a lovely final few weeks, making the most of the ☀️ & I’ll remember this special class for a long time ❤️
📚❤️ Really enjoyed sharing the graphic novel love and discussing how we can develop and grow reading communities this morning at our final TSRC session.
Graphic novels are the focus reading material for our final TSRC session today. Looking forward to sharing EOP and reflecting on the year's project @StWEnglishHub@OpenUni_RfP
Can’t beat sharing a picture book with Y6 & unpicking deeper meanings. Had a truly fascinating hr with @stjdinnington Y6 discussing the themes in The Piggybook. So interesting to hear their responses. This book was written when I was at primary school. ‘Times they are a changin’’
