@tombennett71@Doug_Lemov 2/2. Had a y7 neurodivergent student question my questioning technique last week, which led to a full on discussion about why teachers ask questions, cold calling etc. They were fascinated, as they had never considered it before! Do yo understand at all how they learn ?
@tombennett71@Doug_Lemov I completely agree, Tom. I do wonder how much time we spend or should spend explaining our pedagogy firstly to the students and secondly to parents. Almost everyone has been to school and their limited experience clouds their (often outdated) judgement! 1/2
@GregHorton64 I remember turning over the tape to record on the other side, only to record over all the candidates on side A. Two weeks into new job, new school working for a new HOD!
@DeputyGrocott Beware of screen time, as my teen realised that it was easy to change the clock to different time zones, which meant it never kicked in!
@RogersHistory@TTRadioOfficial A daytime slot on morning tv yesterday (sorry, I was at home sick!) was showcasing best outfits to buy your child for WBD with the usual Disney princesses etc. Thsnk goodness I was too ill to phone in!
@Langwitch@joedale@quizlet You need to make sure the sets they are learning are in their class, so they can access them. Also, I think they need to be your sets. You can always duplicate and rename to make sets your own. It shouldn’t have to be this hard!
