@1dani__ I think this wording is stupid. That doesn't mean that the idea is. There are a wide range of 'work from home' jobs, and they impact the property differently. it's not really a problem if you are writing insurance, but it might be if your 'at home' job is as a TEMU reshipper.

@whothehellsjack Then there is repayment of any loan taken out to start the business. Seriously. Industry wide we calculate 20% is a very positive return. Your $2000 of goods is bringing in about $400. Your $600 day is bringing in about $120.

@whothehellsjack Assume that they make what you do (some more and some less) and so take off say another $5, including ad fees and tech. So now that shirt has brought in $35. Maybe. Now remember if you are in a mall they get a percentage. Now remember taxes (real estate) if there is not rent.

@whothehellsjack Now remember that you are not the only human working in that store - even if you are the only sales person. Someone had to box and unbox goods, clean the store at night (janitorial service?) Someone has to do the windows and design and print the posters and dress the forms.

@whothehellsjack So now the shirt is bringing in $45. It must also cover the utilities, water, bathroom supplies, bags, hangers, etc. This is calculated at about 5% - more if the shop is fancy, less if you remember to take back and stack the hangers. So lets say that is $40.
