This week Year 7 students have had a visit from our librarian, Mrs Bandanwal to launch the Warwickshire Book Award and find out about the six great books on the shortlist.
The brilliant Booker Prize winning novel ‘Orbital’ by Samantha Harvey is available to borrow in the school library. Read it for a warts and all insight into the life of an astronaut. It’s essential reading for all Earth dwellers. #KES
This is a terrific read. I loved the illustrated bestiary at the front and the beautiful map, but above all it’s the characters and their relationships that will stay with me.
