It was lovely to meet so many budding mathematicians at open evening last night and to see the joy when talking maths. Particular shout out goes to our young visitor who knew his 99 xtable and recognised so many patterns in the numbers and it’s relationship to the 9 xtable.
Love listening to Professor Hannah Fry talk maths! Her ambition is to being maths to the masses so she always makes it so understandable. Always worth a listen

@KESSchoolVisits Learned about hot spots and mantle plumes (model in scale to Iceland shown at the top) this morning as well as taking in the stats of the eruptions.
