@henrywinter It’s official. It a terrible season for officials and @FA_PGMOL So much inconsistency with decisions despite the benefit of replays. And it’s not about correcting clear and obvious errors. It’s about looking for minuscule detail to change results.
@plzpassthepie@DiscoMirror@OllieHolt22 The official had the mentality of 'a reason not to give it' as opposed to 'a reason to give it'.
I mean, it was a mess, but certainly earlier fouls in the play before Raya was 'fouled'!.
@Ramma_____ Yep. Rice was holding onto Mavripanos before the Raya incident so why wasn’t that given and a later ‘foul’ in Arsenal’s favour was…? Surely the first foul takes precedent?
@henrywinter Of course people will suggest conspiracy because there have been much clearer fouls than that where PGMOL have said no foul. Rice v Chelsea on Hato (was it?) when Rice held him down with both arms AND handballed it with his elbow…
@MattDebonoAC Remember Rice pinning down a Chelsea player with both arms AND hand balling it too….no penalty given….arm across Reya, West Ham goal disallowed.
@MadMontana The right fit for these owners. A coach that’ll be happy to get the Chelsea job because he’s a good coach not an elite one with higher demands.
@goalsside And later went on to hire Liam Rosenior who sliced more balls out of touch when he was playing for Reading than I do at golf. The hierarchy are clueless.
