I replied I am not guilty, it fed a lot of families at the factory where it was built. I’m sure it fed a lot of families that rolled the steel in another factory and fed a lot of people at the factory where the components were built.

That’s the difference between capitalism and a welfare mentality. When you buy something, you put money in people's pockets and give them dignity for their skills.

When you give someone something for nothing, you rob them of their dignity and give them the bad habit of earning easy money. The politicians are the worst culprits in doling out freebies in exchange for votes. Our PM has rightly criticized this trend as ‘revdi’.

When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work, because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is the beginning of the end of any nation.
