What an incredible Rising 6th Grade Open House! Our KMSSI student leaders and student organizations brought the energy, enthusiasm, and Cougar pride, while our administrative team connected with families and shared important information. We are already excited about SY 26-27.

We closed Mental Health Awareness month with big fun! Mind Over Matters activities brought creativity, teamwork & fun! Students rotated through engaging mental health-focused stations that challenged their minds, encouraged collaboration, and promoted overall wellness.

Our 8th graders participated in an etiquette class focused on preparing them for future success. We believe life skills are just as important as academics! Our principal provided personalized gifts to encourage & inspire them to continue their journey toward a bright future.

In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month, our 6th, 7th, and 8th graders participated in 3 amazing sessions with Rhythm of Yoga! Students were engaged, focused, and did an incredible job with the movements. We love promoting wellness and self-care with our scholars!

Today was all about connection, creativity, and fun at CRI Buddy Day! Our NJHS and SGA students were buddies with CRI for an amazing time in the gym filled with giant board games, painting, and line dancing. So many smiles, laughs, and memories made!

Our 8th graders had an unforgettable time at Career Takeover & Tool Fest hosted by Employ Prince George’s! Students explored hands-on careers, learned CPR, practiced using tools, tested army fitness skills, and so much more. Thank you for an engaging and impactful experience.
