Grade 7&8 students from @alcdsb_jjon have embarked on a journey back in time to experience what it was like to be a soldier at the Citadel of Upper Canada in the year 1867. Students are spending the day, and night, at Fort Henry as part of The Soldiers’ Overnight Program.

School visits continued this afternoon at @alcbds_stpe where @DavidDeSantis22 and school board trustees were given a school tour led by Principal Dorey. The group engaged with students to learn about all the exciting things they are doing in both inside and outside the classroom.

Wednesdays are a favourite in this vibrant school community thanks to ‘Grilled Cheese Grandma’ who provides students with the option to purchase a grilled cheese sandwich for lunch, all of which proceeds go towards covering the cost of busing for field trips for students.
