@SmallerFishGAA Galway play 13/14 players outside their 45 and they still don’t have a sweeper? What are those players doing when they only play in almost a half of a pitch?

@Caolan_Scully I’m not sure the talent is there. Seems like Ireland are between generations. No centres coming through. Very reliant on JGP. No back rows coming through and weak at prop. Think Farrell is doing well to keep Ireland just outside top 3.

@MiguelDelaney @pyjamas_black Did players not drop off after the goal. Tuchel didn’t tell them to drop off. Or did Argentina up their level and England couldn’t handle it and seemed to panic. Seems like 2 best “teams” are in the final. Also agree that subs gave England no chance of regaining momentum

@SeanSheehanBA US - nfl, mlb, nba, soccer. Oz - rules, soccer, union, league. But Ireland probably next I’d say. Uk soccer is by far the dominant sport ahead of others so can’t be applied to uk.

@RestIsFootball @alanshearer @MicahRichards The amount of times i hear shearer say clear and obvious is crazy. I still don’t think he gets it. It’s subjective. His version of clear and obvious is different to someone else’s. If England concede a goal like that does he say it’s a clear and obvious error so goal ruled out.

@SmallerFishGAA Thought whelan had the worst performance I’ve seen him give in first half. Blocked down twice. Hooked once. And missed an easy point. Did better in second half but Galway will need more from him in final

@SmallerFishGAA Mgmt should be telling players that if we’re x,y,z pts down with x,y,z mins left we start going for goals. Cork start going for goals on 60mins and 6 pts down. If they take their point and get it to 5 and go again and see can you get it to 4 with 8 mins left who knows what.

@truefergallynch No wonder players don’t want the championship going into August/Sept. And getting paid for it too!! When talking about inter county/club split this should be mentioned

@samuelluckhurst I know he scored some goals for Utd but was he that good for them during the season in terms of in the ball and winning possession. Always felt like a ridiculous as he never really relied on his legs

@SmallerFishGAA Terrible rule. Too subjective on what a ref sees. Has brought this to extra time. Roscommon got one against comer in Connacht which was penal and wrong as well

@Brendennel Is moodie usually this bad. Dropped ball there. Yellow card. Slips in midfield for a line break. Doesn’t go up to catch ball in 22. Seems to be having an absolute shocker

@gcooney93 England had a good 15 mins after h/t. Englands defence looks weak and again they struggle to keep the ball. I’d put them behind Spain Argentina France Germany

@AdamCrafton_ BBC had Rooney at h/t explaining how Ronaldo occupying the centre half’s will help Portugal 🙄. It’s as if they’ll create any positive for him. They’ve all forgotten what happened at the last World Cup

@McDonnellDan I would agree with him. He did give the ball away in some dodgy situations.
