I'm over on Bluesky now with lots of new retro-gaming and programming goodness.
It's the Commodore Amiga's 40th Birthday today!
If you want to catch-up on all of my posts since I moved there head over to:-

@mdf200 Thanks, Mike. Great to track down the advert. The poster give away must have been around the same time, but in another magazine. I agree, it would be lovely to have a repro poster. Someone mentioned a while ago that the orginal airbrush version hung on the wall in Tim's office!
@Jermolene @Elsalvadormemes No worries. I'd love to know what actually happened! I shared my own hand-annotated BASIC 2 disassembly a while ago. I also managed to get a copy of your Compendium - a specially bound library edition.

LEGO Star Wars : The Skywalker Saga ( Base game ) is currently FREE on the EPIC Games Store! Thoroughly recommended. I am biased as this was the last game I worked on before retiring.

@LEGOGameMuseum@PaulieHughes I think that watermark version got leaked some how rather than being 'found' in the game data. I'm more than happy to be proved wrong!
I think the reason why LEGO James Bond, the video game, never happened is because LEGO didnβt go ahead with sets for the franchise - excluding the Aston Martin. That may well have been because they thought it was more adult themed. That video is a mock up by the cutscene team.
@PaulieHughes It's the first time I've seen this! I can only guess someone had it in their portfolio and it somehow escaped! Yeah, in terms of rendering it's quite old, probably 9+ years old.
@RedFive1243 Yes, AFOLs have been catered for very well with some large, expensive sets, based on existing franchises - STAR WARS, HARRY POTTER etc. James Bond is a more adult themed franchise. Normally, LEGO aim their core sets at the 5 to 12 age group.
Had another great catch-up today with some old Software Creations friends. I've not seen Tony Williams for over 20 years so it was great to see him again after all this time. Group photo from left to right:- Tim Follin, Mike Follin, Dean B, Tony Williams and myself.
