Russians are trying to disrupt this aid as well. Russian military forces shoot down drones with provisions, cynically take away or resell food intended for children and the elderly. In exchange for receiving humanitarian packages, the occupiers detain residents of Oleshkiv, throw them "into the basement", severely beat them, and resort to violence.

Deliberately blocking aid and creating famine among the civilian population are another example of war crimes committed by Russia.

🇺🇦 A Ukrainian counteroffensive is unfolding around Lyman, and its effects are now beginning to extend toward the approaches to Slovyansk.

AMK Mapping estimates that the latest Ukrainian advances represent roughly 190 km² of territorial change in Kyiv's favor over the past ten days. That figure remains an OSINT assessment and should not be treated as a confirmed territorial count. But the broader Ukrainian counteroffensive in this sector is well established.

Around Lyman itself, AMK assesses that Ukrainian forces have restored full control of the city and pushed Russian positions roughly 8–9 km away from parts of its eastern outskirts.

Ukrainian assault groups are now fighting inside Zarichne while simultaneously advancing through the forests toward Torske and clearing Russian positions around Yampil and Dibrova.

The geography south of Lyman may be even more consequential.

With routes across the Siverskyi Donets reopened, Ukrainian forces have been moving reinforcements south and counterattacking east of Mykolaivka, with AMK reporting gains around Pyskunivka, Kryva Luka and Rai-Oleksandrivka.

Ukraine's 3rd Army Corps had already said Operation Vivaldi disrupted Russia's attempt to develop a northern approach toward the Slovyansk–Kramatorsk defensive belt.

The latest map suggests that Ukraine is now exploiting that success rather than simply consolidating it.

AMK assesses that the advances could delay a Russian battle for Slovyansk by several months.

That timeline is his assessment, not an established forecast. Fighting remains intense, particularly around Zarichne, where Russian artillery and drone teams continue to inflict losses on Ukrainian assault groups.
