The fantastic @ParksideCulling is a key feeder from @OxenhopeCEPS. It recently became a @WellspringAT school and is now looking for a leader that can drive positive inclusive change to make the school amazing.
Is that you?

@mathninja3 I did what I now consider bullying to someone when I was at school, I added them on Facebook and apologised. They said they didn't recall it being as bad as I remembered it being and we now get on well.

Our latest blog from #computing network lead Scott McHale considers the use of #technology to support #wellbeing in the classroom...

I've written for @SchoolsWeek about how governors and @OxenhopeCEPS leaders worked together to achieve an "excellent" #SIAMS, how being at a Christian trust like @WeAreBDAT helped and why inspections that look beyond results are important. https://t.co/wZOgariUpT @UKGovChat
Congratulations Jessica - what a fantastic achievement.
Here's a brilliant video Jessica made setting out her experience of devising, planning and completing her Extended Project Qualification while managing her ADHD

The shadow education secretary @bphillipsonMP has been talking about numeracy and financial literacy @UKLabour Conference. But what are they and how can they be assessed in practice? Last week @AQA published a report looking at just that! Read it here: https://t.co/pC1s1uE2F3
Really interesting proposal here from AQA on a digital based assessment on fundamental life skills to replace the need to resit maths and English GCSE and adding #digitalliteracy into the mix.
Our new report, Towards New assessments for Numeracy, Literacy and Digital Fluency, looks at how there is a clear and consistent problem in England with low levels of numeracy, literacy and digital fluency - this issue must be tackled.
So, what solutions are there? 🧵1/3
We have opened applications for our new @AQA and AoC Project Excellence Award which celebrates the most interesting, exciting and inspirational student research projects from Higher and Extended Project Qualifications. #LoveOurColleges#AoCStudentAwards

When I say #LearnDifferently I don't just mean on obscure websites or in a forest; sometimes just the approach can be a slight change for different results. Seems in this case, it worked.
I've had a look at the HGV industry to see whether skills bootcamps have addressed the driver crisis and what impact the bootcamps may have had on apprenticeships: https://t.co/z6jn9TNMc3
It's #NationalApprenticeshipsWeek and Channel 4 has a number of apprenticeship opportunities based in Leeds. If you're just starting out and fancy a career in the media then West Yorkshire is full of opportunities!

Some good points from @HollyLynch5 picking up on the #eresponsibilty aspect of #esafety. There's a focus on exploitation, but there's harm beyond that, often ignored. I wrote about this in my book 10 years ago yet laws like libel and hate crime are still ignored by platforms.
I secured a debate on online harms back in October 2020, telling the Government that the lack of regulation was making people miserable and exposing children to potentially dangerous content. After months of delay and posturing, the bill still falls short.

Some really important stuff here about #esafety via @esafety_Kent - The Victim Blaming document in particular should be read by everyone as it applies to many non-online scenarios. https://t.co/2WnCJUY3U4
