@milto28796@dnfamilylaw@LeeAndersonMP_ Just picking one specific part of this, you’ve said child benefit for a large family if 5 is £98.65 per week is roughly equal to £430 per month, which is obviously nowhere near the upper estimate of £600 per month?
@Metzyco1@LeeAndersonMP_@lincslincs Why shouldn’t it be taxed? You didn’t pay tax on the way in, so you’d get double benefit if it wasn’t taxed on the way out… and state pension is and always will be paid for by the current generations national insurance contributions (which are taken before tax).
@space_244@robprogressive The term ‘exodus’ probably isn’t the correct word to describe the less than 0.3% of the UKs reported 3 million millionaires leaving the country…. Data generally provided by Henley & Partners who literally sell ‘golden passports’
@Gravitygunner14@Ando6767Andrew@rob_williams88 Giving off about defending champions on x points when you’s are an irrelevant has been club that’s won essentially fuck all for the best part of 2 decades 🤣
@darrengrimes Convenient that you found a poll that has the best results for reform.
What about More In common, YouGov and Opinium that all cover similar periods but have the results an awful lot closer.
@afcnevers_@Lea_EFC Hardly ‘cooking’.
What not use the last 25 years for all? Or the last 50 years? Stats are easy to manipulate if you change the time period for each one.
Liverpool living rent free in the bitter blues heads 🤣🤣🤣
@HukAleksandra 100k earnings: calculation not accurate
Vinted: not accurate
Stamp duty: partially accurate, value and situation dependant
Pension: You don’t pay tax on contributions so why shouldn’t it be tax now?
@KirstieMAllsopp@inesMBeaumont But Kirstie, if you work from home 1 day a week or you work in an office 1 day a week (or a day a mk th either way) you are neither fully home based or fully office based.
You become a remote worker, a key part of jobs these days to a very high percentage of people.
@ReinardSchmuli1@SamanthaTaghoy@RestoreBritain_ The Henley & Partners report has been found to be almost entirely incorrect/innacurate.
Given it comes from a company specialising in ‘golden passports’ I’m inclined to think it’s more of a marketing tactic than an actual ‘report’ so to speak.
@Inevitablewest It’s not unprecedented though, is it?
Almost 15m people voted for either the tories, Lib Dem’s or reform literally a hand full of months ago.
They didn’t like the result in the same way remainers didn’t like the referendum result… unfortunately you’re gonna have to suck it up.
@Heccles94 Colour me surprised when companies (charities or not) are paying extortionate rental prices in central London.
Also for context - this is over a period of ~20 years and for the entire building, not just the 3 mentioned above.
He also doesn’t personally set rental prices.
