When you pay taxes for universal healthcare, you're not "paying for lazy people's healthcare." You're paying for your own healthcare instead of premiums, copays, and deductibles.
Why can't people grasp this? Look at it as something that benefits you and your family, not just other people. You'd actually save more money under a tax-funded healthcare system than you do with the current for-profit system.

Or on a local level, are you vocal about giving children with parents who are not well the access to a proper education? Are you vocal about giving?
