@WG_RumblePants I now prefer to watch Barnt Green in the 1st Division of Birmingham League instead of Warwickshire. Itโs a nice country ground, excellent standard, close to the action and very good cask ale.
@CharlesDagnall This is dreadful news- Pipes was an integral part of that 90s team. Rarely mentioned among the usual names but easily the best keeper I have ever watched - he was sadly overlooked Internationally
@WG_RumblePants Love watching Barnt Green in the Birmingham League- plenty of County 2xi and National Counties players turning out- as you say up close to the action and in this case very decent real ale as opposed to the overpriced rubbish they serve at Edgbaston
@WG_RumblePants Lovely ground in a lovely village/town that is also the home to two breweries- Theakstons and Black Sheep. All three within easy walking distance, canโt think of a better way to spend a Saturday
@WG_RumblePants I saw Smithโs ton from three at Edgbaston at the start of the season - he was quite lucky to survive early on, on what was a road.
Iโm not saying I donโt like Smith but letโs not mess Bethell about having got him in the team
@dgriffinpix Spot on David- Iโm convinced nothing will happen. Also not certain Iโm right factually right on this but if 2(?) of the franchises are only 49% owned by IPL entities how do those franchises get to dictate policy?
@Thirdand4ever @englandcricket Get your sentiments on Bazball but on this one occasion I think it has been beneficial to him - heโs always been confident but being around the International set up early on has helped even more with his self belief- I say this as a Warwickshire member
