@StephenCleeve And how many times is it that the manager gets the sack for the poor decisions the players make? Coaches set the style of play but players should adapt, but managers get sacked cause it is cheaper than sacking or benching the player who will then cause trouble in the club.
@stuartpykesport The reason for VAR is the fact every decision was scrutinised by MEDIA , Drawing lines on pitch to criticise refs. YOU the media question refs decisions. Without A) not knowing the laws of the game, B) having lots of angles to view now you now sit and criticise VAR.
What is the bloody point of having it if week after week after week the officials keep getting it wrong🤷🏼 VAR is just ruining the game….it feels like a plastic sport now separated from reality and most importantly the fans 😎
Deja vu, less than 3 weeks since the last flood New Broughton is flooded again. It doesn’t help when cars & buses drive through causing large waves. Local garage service pits 7ft deep filled up again. Residents scared whenever heavy rainfall. @wrexham
A reminder that our Become a Ref event is this coming weekend.
Come down to Colliers Park on Sunday 26th February, and delve into the refereeing world.

Refereeing is hard.
Every referee makes mistakes.
Referees manage more than 2 dozen biased personalities simultaneously.
They cover on average 10km+ per game.
They get one viewing angle; making the best decisions based on that one angle.
Before the game my hope was to be competitive & have no injuries. A win against a team like Sheffield utd would be a long shot, to draw I am chuffed but so gutted tonight with the late equaliser. The lads and management did us all proud. @Wrexham_AFC
Also, a special thank you to @BrymboSportsSC for their excellent hospitality all year and of course to our committee members @keithcherrett & Maria Pascoe, whose hard work behind the scenes often goes unnoticed.
Diolch! 👏
