I have never been one to mince my words, so I will speak candidly, especially since Hon @rigathi chose to address us publicly.
First, Linda Mwananchi has a leader who is Hon. Edwin W. Sifuna. He is accessible, and there are established channels through which leaders can engage one another. When statements are made publicly in a manner that appears directed at him but you heavily mention Hon Kangata, by extension, dismisses the thousands of young people who have built this movement!!
Linda Mwananchi is not a temporary political project; it is a movement powered largely by young Kenyans who have invested their time, resources, and even their safety because they believe this country deserves better. Respect must always flow both ways. A new generation of leaders cannot be expected to participate in national conversations while being spoken to in a condescending tone.
Secondly, the Thika/Githurai rally demonstrated something many had underestimated: Linda Mwananchi has taken root in the Mt. Kenya region because our message resonates with Kenyans across the country. That reality may discomfort some within the old political establishment, but we make no apology for engaging every region of Kenya. No part of this country belongs exclusively to any individual or political formation.
The only legitimate concern I would raise regarding attendance at any rally would be the safety of our supporters. We have seen enough politically motivated violence to know that security must never be taken lightly, particularly where any incident could be used to undermine the democratic process or postponement of the Olkalau By-election.
We respect you sir, but please note our respect should never be mistaken for fear.
There were many ways this conversation could have been had. Choosing a public platform instead inevitably invited a public response.
One thing should remain clear: young people are not waiting for permission to participate in shaping Kenya's future. We are already doing so, and we intend to do it with conviction, courage, and respect.
You seem to forget many of us now aligned to Linda Mwananchi have been fighting in the opposition long before you joined us. We even stood with and by you regardless of our political differences when you were impeached! So when you now decide to settle whatever clear scores you need to at our expense you are clearly reminding us why in the first place you continue to be the biggest roadblock of democracy.
These are my individual thoughts the official Linda Mwananchi statement will be issued through our Spokesperson Hon Hon Caroli Omondi C B S

Ethekon’s Commission is already showing early signs of gross incompetence. It appears to be completely out of its depth and increasingly subservient to the regime.
I also find yesterday’s statement on the possibility of postponing the Ol Kalou by-election both dangerous and suspicious. If the IEBC as currently constituted lacks the capacity to manage the dynamics of a single constituency by-election, how does it expect Kenyans to trust it with a General Election involving six ballots across 290 constituencies?
Or are they testing the waters ahead of 2027, trying to normalize the idea of postponing elections under one pretext or another?
Tuko macho!
WILLIAM RUTO’S GOVT OWES STANDARD GROUP SH1.2 BILLION IN UNPAID ADS
Instead of paying, he went on X at 9:49 am to call them extortionists, blackmailers and propagandists — from the highest office in the land.
Standard hit back with four words that buried him: “We have the receipts.”
The real blackmail, they said, is your government withholding Sh1.2 billion to strangle a media house into silence.
Ruto threatened “Do your WORST.”
Standard responded: We will hold the government accountable for any harm to our journalists, directors and shareholders”
A sitting President, angry and exposed, picked a public fight with a newspaper he owes money to.
He didn’t win. He lost. Angered. And conquered …
Enhancing opposition unity as we seek to liberate Kenya. It was a pleasure catching up with Chief Justice Emeritus David Maraga as we continue building a broad, united front committed to a better future for all Kenyans.

History will remember the 40 Honoroble Members of the National Assembly who on Thursday 18th June 2026 stood with the people of Kenya.
You are the true heroes of our Nation who chose the 55 Million Kenyans against the oppressive 2026/27 finance bill.
That is the true representation of the people who gave the mandate. I trust your constituents will show you kindness next year on the 10th of August.
For those who voted YES to oppress the people who elected them as well as those who deliberately kept off when it mattered most, I am sure Mr. William Ruto is very happy with you and shall reward you handsomely.
Dear Kenyans, please note the Honorable Members who stood with you and voted NO, to Reject the oppressive 2026 Finance Bill. That was a vote for you as a Kenyan.
40 is one of the most symbolic and significant numbers in the Holy Bible and Qur'an.
God Bless Kenya.

Chicago, it’s good to be home!
Michelle and I built the Obama Presidential Center to be a place where people of all ages can learn, play, and work – and we can't wait to welcome you all later this week!
This morning, I had the pleasure of meeting young Jubilee Party aspirants who paid me a courtesy visit, among them Muthoni Waringa, Woman Representative aspirant for Murang’a County, Kelvin Chege Kabachia, MP aspirant for Kiharu Constituency, and Samuel Nderitu Wachira, MCA aspirant for Aguthi-Gaki Ward.
Their passion, energy, and commitment to leadership are a strong reflection of the bright future ahead for our country. At Jubilee, we remain deeply committed to supporting and empowering young leaders as they step forward to serve their communities and help shape the future of Kenya.
