Watching Jacob Zuma over the last few days, there are many signs that Zuma isn't as aware of what he's saying these days. He's on auto pilot. They steer him to a podium, thoughts pop into his head, sounds come out his mouth. Recent talk about his cognitive health and him projecting about it - this means something. Hard to know if increasing gaffes are a function of stress, medication, or neurology. Could be a combination. Stress is everywhere; his desperation is obvious. He sweats, sniffs, slurs and continuously clears his throat.
