I believe 247sports is mainly looking at the upper class man. Like I tell my son. Don’t pay attention to rankings use it as fuel to make a statement. And I know Alcoa picked up Heatherly and the guy from Webb. And then was just told the other day they picked up another TE transfer. It’s a solid TE group going to be exciting seeing how well they work together.

One of the youngest players on this list but already flashing major upside. Reed combines excellent size with fluid movement skills and projects as a high-level college prospect if his development continues. His best football is still ahead of him.

5. Kaden Bales (Sevier County) — Class of 2027

A physical player who thrives in the run game. Bales creates movement at the point of attack and has steadily improved as a receiver. His toughness and consistency make him one of the safest projections in East Tennessee.

6. Mason Hensley (Knox Central) — Class of 2027

A true hybrid weapon capable of lining up attached to the formation or flexed into the slot. His athletic ability creates mismatches against linebackers while still offering enough size to contribute as a blocker.

7. Eli Russell (Science Hill) — Class of 2027

Russell’s combination of size and body control makes him an attractive red-zone target. He continues improving as a blocker, and another productive season could significantly raise his recruiting profile.

8. Carson Carter (Powell) — Class of 2028
