Some news: Tonight's 10 pm news is my last at @fox4kc!
After nearly 12 years cranking out scripts under daily deadlines and developing an encyclopedic knowledge of every public restroom in three cities, I'm hanging up my earpiece for a great opportunity. (1/4)
It’s a full circle moment hanging out in the dugout at Victory Field in Indianapolis, IN for the historic return of the Indianapolis Clowns to the city where they made so much history! It’s the Clowns vs the Party Animals in an exciting @BananaBall_ game!

Since our start at the corner of 22nd and Brooklyn, we were founded to give a deserving city its Major League moment.
Today, that mission endures as we return downtown, driven by homegrown leadership and a deep commitment to Kansas City and to generations of fans.
A Hallmark moment for @Royals and our city as the team announced plans today to build a new ballpark and Baseball District at Crown Center in the heart of downtown 💙
The @Royals should be home in Kansas City for a long time to come. Proud to sign into a law a key step to making a new downtown ballpark and district a reality. #HEYHEYHEYHEY

Tonight, Union Station shines in blue, white and gold for the next generation of Royals baseball and its historic return to the heart of our community.
The restoration and reopening of Union Station 25 years ago, made possible by the shared commitment of citizens on both sides of the state line, marked a turning point for our city. Since then, our downtown has been reimagined and revitalized, earning recognition across the nation and beyond. We are vital and vibrant and ready for the next big step... downtown baseball. This is a truly generational opportunity rooted in both history and hope.
Long before today, baseball teams and ballparks (some now remembered only in name) laid the foundation for baseball in our historic core. Included are the Unions at Athletic Park in 1884. The Kansas City Cowboys at League Park in 1886. The Royal Giants at Shelley Park in 1910. The Packers at Gordon & Koppel Field beginning in 1913. The Kansas City Blues at Association Park in the early 1920s, before moving in 1923, along with the Monarchs, to what would eventually be called Municipal Stadium. In 1955, the Athletics started playing in a nearly entirely rebuilt Municipal Stadium, followed by the Royals in 1969, before their move to Royals Stadium in 1973.
So, we look ahead with clarity and optimism and are listening carefully for the details of downtown baseball to be shared. And while that process plays out, we’re excited about the opportunity to bring baseball’s legends, legacy, and love back to the place where it all began.
It’s time to welcome downtown baseball home once again, for all of Kansas City.
The new City Connects are here! Royals will debut them tomorrow night and wear them the rest of the weekend.
Plus all Friday home games the rest of the season.
