Congratulations to our very own Mid-Hudson Study Council Award Winners! Mrs. Casey-Bryant and Mr. D.J. Bertholf! #SullivanWest has the best faculty and staff! Congrats!
Seeing a lot of these types of posts over the past couple weeks with schools getting back in session. From a parent perspective, remember children do experience anxiety and sometimes have a hard time with change. As parents, we can be that calm our kids need.
Students know when a teacher is real. They have a radar for authenticity.
* Admit when you've made a mistake
* Say Thank You
* Don't pretend to know it all
* Listen to them/ ask them about their hobbies
* Use humor/ stories
* Let them know/ see you really care
