A new AI model is worth exploring when the barrier to trying it is low.
DeepSeek-V4.1-Flash-1017 is free in Qoder through October 24 for both free and paid accounts. It uses 0.0x Credits during the offer, though daily usage limits still apply.
Download Qoder, sign in, and select the model.

We've spent years trying to make technology faster and more efficient. But education might be one of the few places where slowing things down is actually the point.
The biggest mistake in AI education is automating the part where the child learns.
The questions. The wrong turns. The “wait, let me try again.”
That’s the part gakku is built around.
@gakkuai helps kids aged 6-16 practice writing, speaking and thinking through live conversations with Raku, its AI learning companion.
What interests me from a product-design perspective is what happens when the child changes their mind. Having small kids myself, I know this happens a lot.
A learner can interrupt, revise an idea or make a choice on screen. Raku has to adapt while keeping the conversation, visuals and mission progress in sync.
The interface becomes part of the thinking. Ideas take shape on screen, and the child’s choices shape what happens next.
That’s a much more interesting design problem than generating a good reply. The system has to follow the learner’s intent, remember what came before and decide when to ask, act or wait.
For me, the design challenge is knowing how much help to give. Too little and the child gets stuck. Too much and the system takes over the decisions they need to practice making.
The child still has to explain, choose and revise.
The interesting bet here: the time spent thinking is the value of the product.
When AI can generate almost any answer, helping someone develop their own becomes a lot more interesting.
Currently trying this with my 6yo at home, will report back on how it goes.
@LinusEkenstam@gakkuai Funny how the thing we usually try to eliminate, the time it takes to figure something out, might be the most valuable part of learning.
Dreamina is just $1.50/month right now. Grab the offer and start creating smarter with Seedance 2.5.
Stop chasing the perfect shot at full price. Generate more variations at 480p, pick your favorite, then upscale only the keeper to 4K.
The surprising part? 4K on Seedance 2.5 now costs less than 720p!
And with Creative Upscale, exclusive to Dreamina, your best shots get the upgrade they deserve.
Here's how to make every generation count.

$0.003 per second is the number that caught my attention with Vivix W1.
At that price, you can generate roughly 77 equal-length videos for the cost of one Seedance 2.5 video.
The footage in the supplied comparison looks strong for the price. Vivix puts generation of an eight-second clip at roughly eight seconds.
But the more interesting part for me is what that price enables.
W1 is a real-time interactive video model, so video can keep generating as someone interacts with the experience. When every additional second costs money, getting that down to $0.003/sec suddenly makes longer interactive stories, games, live visuals, etc. much more practical.
There are still things I’d like to see improve, especially complex motion and dense scenes, but affordable real-time video feels like a much bigger unlock than simply generating cheaper clips.
Real-time access is available through the API today, with browser tools coming later.
@VivixLabs_HQ has the W1 pricing and API details here:

@csaba_kissi The API being live already makes this feel tangible. I want to try a scene where the viewer gets a few meaningful choices, then see where it goes.
You’ve seen AI voiceovers.
